Call to Arms first game of the season.

I hope you're joking. Or are you talking about a boycott of Wasps.

    The next step

Lets hear your plan then? From what we are told Wasps have requested indemnification. Would you be prepared to offer that? If not what is your solution?

I don't think anyone takes things at face value however some key points, such as the commitment to no further legal action have been stated before and never disputed by Wasps not even through their friends in the local media.

You mean you won't be hiring the Jimmy Hill conference room off them anymore? They're happy enough to use our history to make them money.

    The people of this city

The PR war was won before most people, and I include myself in that, realised we were being manipulated. Unfortunately SISU didn't bother with any PR and the council were able to present things, with a complicit local media helping them, exactly the way they wanted to.

Thats the spirit! At this rate our fans will be able to do all 92 league grounds without every going to an away game.

Another one for the local media, which they will no doubt ignore. Would expect them to be questioning the council on what legal action is ongoing from CCFC or SISU. Can't be referring to the EC investigation as that is nothing to do with the club or its owners.

Exactly. There's so many contradictions in what comes out from Wasps. If it was Fisher the media would be all over it but with Wasps they just let it slide.

Blimey, if that statement is even remotely true then Wasps have a lot of explaining to do. We can only hope that the local media, trust etc finally get a grip on things an do what is expected of them. Shame SISU haven't handled the PR like this from day 1. Might have stopped CCC and their...

Using the logic of the council, Wasps etc a couple of years out of the city means 100 plus years of history in the bin and we're now classed as nomadic. We should move halfway across the country permanently, sure that would be applauded.

I wonder if any Wasps supporters have actually communicated to the club in anyway that they don't support the action being taken by Wasps?

I'm sure he'll be quick to question Wasps about the fact we have seen repeated statements explicitly stating SISU offered to sign legal documents confirming no more legal action.

Bit of an odd conclusion to draw. Personally if the council and / or Wasps have done something wrong I'd want them to be punished and CCFC to return to the city but each to their own.

That's what I mean, clubs have in the past. I have a feeling we were one of the first to do so many years ago. The rules about no games on TV at 3pm on a Saturday (which isn't actually a law) were in place then so surely its possible now.

They've stitched Gilbert up a treat there. Fans groups will be PSB and maybe the Trust from when they went up and gave them a round of applause. Great work from our own fans groups allowing Wasps to use them as an endorsement of their actions. Only have to get to the second line for BS. It...

Wonder if the club could put on official screenings of the ifollow feed somewhere in Coventry. Would be an option for those who genuinely can't attend to still get together, support the club and help financially.
