Quite a devastating day in terms of City's fortunes

You should know by now every year it goes tits up after Xmas.

    How much would promotion cost?

You've summed it up there. Why would they gamble any more money. Is CCFC in L1 really any more valuable to a potential buyer than CCFC in L2?

    Biamou

At some point no matter what else he does your #9 has to chip in with an occasional goal!

    Are we happy

We're in touch with the leaders which is where I wanted to be. Now to see what happens in the window. With Andreu and Jones out for the season and a lack of goals it would be good to get 2 or 3 players in who will be in or around the first team. And of course keep hold of our better players...

Stand up if you've never watched Wasps

Sixfields was our designated home ground so using your logic nobody should have any complaints if we move there permanently. Irish are still based in Sunbury but play their home games 40 mins away in Sunbury. However they will be moving back as soon as their new ground is completed...

Got to be more to that surely? If there's millions and multiple properties what has happened in court for the judge to give her everything and leave him without a pot to piss in.

Stand up if you've never watched Wasps

The issue I have is that they were allowed by the local media to put out PR without anything being questioned. For example when they picked the Higgs for their training centre nobody questioned why they'd picked the only one of the thirty-something sites they'd supposedly looked at that would...

Stand up if you've never watched Wasps

Its a no for me, never have and never will. Since I've moved back to Cov I don't think there's a game thats gone by where free tickets haven't been on offer at work. Quite simple for me, they shouldn't be here. It is unacceptable to move a club around the country solely for the owners financial...

    Friday night games

Comparing our attendances in the fourth tier to Wasps in the top tier is ridiculous. If you follow the logic that Wasps are a bigger club in Coventry than us then they would get more than us if they were in the fourth tier. Does anyone really think Wasps v Sedgley Park would be pulling in 7K on...

Match Thread Coventry City - Wycombe Wanderers Match Thread - Friday 22nd Dec

Whenever Burge kicks I always think he's carried it out of the area. Obviously he doesn't as a free kick has never been given, must be something about the way he kicks.

Stoke Details Confirmed - Saturday 6th January

Except the average ticket price is nothing like that and you've massively overstated the effect lower prices had on attendances: 2015/16, when they reduced the prices, an adult season ticket worked out at £11 per game, concessions were £8. Match tickets were £18 advance, £20 on the gate...

Stoke Details Confirmed - Saturday 6th January

Exactly, the rise in attendances didn't offset the reduction in ticket prices so the club took less money. That can work if you are getting all the other revenue streams but we don't.

    Christmas message from Dave...

Great news about the academy. Looks like the Ricoh on a one or two year deal once they get past the hitch. Makes sense really. Don't want to put off any potential new owner by signing the club up to a long term deal.

Fair play to their fans, a lot more turned up than I expected. Must be hard going having to watch that style of play every week.
