Match Thread Coventry City - Carlisle United Match Thread - Tuesday 12th Sep

the FL fixture schedule really needs to be looked at, particularly with midweek games. hard enough to get people to attend as it is but a cold, rainy Tuesday night when there's Barcelona v Juve, Man Utd & Chelsea on TV gives little incentive to the walk up crowd.

That was always the plan wasn't it? Sure they said that when iFollow first came in for those overseas.

100% record at the Ricoh this season for crap weather.

Think that's the least of the problems. Look at some of the London 2012 venues that went up very quickly and were all temporary.

From which perspective? If I was the council I would be doing everything I could to help the football club as its important to the city and that would be my primary aim over sticking one to the clubs current owners. Although if I was in that positon I wouldn't have made it so hard for the club...

midweek matches streamed live from next season

That article is all over the place. Headline says Football league then the article says Championship. It also goes from talking about midweek matches to all matches not between 14:45 and 17:15 on a Saturday. Talks about Sky streaming games but then says the streams will be on club websites if...

To be honest if I was involved on the decision on the FL side (and didn't have any connection to Cov) it would be very tempting to just say kick them out and that's the end of the problem. We're in L2 playing in an empty stadium, sure there would be a few articles when it happened but would...

Realistically what choice would the FL have if the Ricoh and Butts aren't options? They either let the club move temporarily again or they kick us out of the FL.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

We already have the right to control immigration form the EU we just choose not to enforce it. So the first step would be to enforce that and only allow those who are economically active (ie have jobs). Then you move on to the more general problem of housing availability. That's down to...

That's the thing, people will say the FL should insist we play at the Ricoh but that doesn't work. Wasps can just say no or they can say we want £1m a season. If they know we have no other option we're screwed.

Lets say they do and its you in charge and not Tim Fisher what do you do? Wasps say they won't even talk with you unless SISU, who you have no power over, stop legal action against CCC. CRFC say they are keen to help but not while legal action is ongoing which as before you have no power over...

    The official NFL Thread

Its something that's so obvious you wonder why its not already in place. You've got the play clock which gives you a limit on getting yourselves together for the next play, you shouldn't be able to wait until the last second and call a TO because you haven't got yourselves together or to try and...

That's exactly my point. He is quoted as saying "My public statements stand". His public statement, made on the CRFC website after a very similar previous article made out a move to the Butts was a non-starter due to CCFC being owned by SISU says: So as far as I can see absolutely nothing has...

No, the usual signs have been starting to show over the last week. He may well have done but given it is virtually a 180 turn on what he's said previously and the lack of context in the article I have my doubts at the moment. If that's the case then you have to conclude that the council are...

He's always appeared to me to very deliberately choose his words, this isn't in line with that and without the full context its hard to read much in to it. As you say he's happy to work with the club on other things.

Its almost comical how obvious it is now when something is brewing. Despite that however it just needs the usual suspects to shout 'SISU' and anything anybody else does to the football club is ignored. Don't think it will be coincidence this is all starting up again when there could be pressure...

    Actual Nazis in America

You seem to have forgotten to mention that these were counter protests to action announced by Patriot Prayer. Odd that you post that tweet but no mention of the person who attempted to shoot at the counter protesters, or the person at a alt right alley in Washington, also organised by Patriot...

I gave up after a couple of episodes of the last season as well, just seemed to be the same thing all the time. These emails are pretty interesting: Frank Darabont's Defense of Abusive 'Walking Dead' Emails: "Stress" and "Extraordinary Crisis"

From the boardroom - Port Vale

Jodi Jones is helping coach a local kids team, think a few of the other players might be involved. They train in the memorial on Thursday evenings. Nice to see the players getting involved in things like that.
