Seppala Interview on Sky Sports News

But what nobody seems able to explain is how, if Wasps and CCC have done no wrong, it is going to end up costing Wasps millions?

It comes up because people insist on dragging up quotes Fisher made years ago as if it somehow impacts on what is happening at the moment.

Can't find that statement on the club website, where was it made? Coventry City deal over Brandon stadium sale hits more delays

Context is king. I believe what you might be referring to is a conversation Fisher had where he said SISUs investors, if they ever existed, had concerns about interference from CCC. This followed the collapse of the project at Brandon and, according Kieran Crowley, a stadium site just over the...

Doubt they'll have time, hear AC and Inter have called them in to cost the San Siro replacement.

Seppala Interview on Sky Sports News

If they're considering the implications of an EC investigation taking place and the council and / or Wasps subsequently being found at fault it follows they have reason to believe the case is not the foregone conclusion we've all been led to believe. Should that be the case then why should it...

It would have to be far enough from the boundary that CCC weren't involved, just going over the boundary doesn't end CCC influence.

Outside the city boundary doesn't mean CCC not being involved.

Seppala Interview on Sky Sports News

Exactly, so It can only be an issue for Wasps if the council are found to be in the wrong, something we have been repeatedly told isn't the case. That would mean the taxpayer has been deprived of tens of millions. Should that be the case why would anyone take issue with Wasps being ordered to...

Seppala Interview on Sky Sports News

Maybe you can tell me how, if CCC have done no wrong as we have repeatedly been told, any complaint to the EC about the council is going to have consequences for Wasps? The point you seem to keep missing is it can only impact Wasps if CCC are found to be in the wrong. If that is the case surely...

Seppala Interview on Sky Sports News

What does it tie up? Its for the EC to decide if they will investigate CCC. It has nothing to do with Wasps. If they decide an investigation should proceed it will be against CCC not Wasps and any defence and associated costs will be the councils. Why would Wasps need to set aside for a risk...

Seppala Interview on Sky Sports News

If, as we have repeatedly been assured, the council did not wrong then there will be no consequence to Wasps, will not involve Wasps, and is a total irrelevance to Wasps. Its simple, Wasps put a condition in place. The club and SISU met that condition. The condition was changed.

Seppala Interview on Sky Sports News

The complaint to the EC was about a third party not Wasps. It didn't fall within the requirements Wasps had put in place which the club met prior to Wasps changing the terms. Presumably if there was a requirement for everyone to be upfront about things involving third parties Wasps informed the...

Seppala Interview on Sky Sports News

Don’t think we got a lot of it back. Seem to recall the council citing a time limit on claiming a refund and only paying back the last two or three years.

It’s just so obvious now. Nobody can possibly be so stupid they can’t see that the football club, or OEG if you want to call it that, and SISU are separate entities. Same people will be arguing CCC had nothing to do with the PR, that was all ACL.
