Yep - this playing the strongest team hasn't made the slightest difference IMO. At least some of the U23's might've put in a bit more effort. Been a non-event second half.

Yes, that's why I've not said Ponti should've come on for Bright. I'm saying if we chage things up front I'd rather see Ponti brought on than move Chaplin up there. As for Bright, I think I'd have prefered to see Westbrooke given a run-out.

I tend to find when we get an official that normally refs higher up they're awful. Whether they just cant be bothered or think it should be about them I dunno but they're crap. Prem officials seem to be particularly shit when reffing below that.

I'd love you to be right but there does seem to be a move right over recent years. Most of it is happening abroad but it is creeping in here too. Far right will not be getting control but could be used in coalition or influence the centre-right further right to appease their more extreme voters...
