Match Thread Coventry City vs. Southend United Match Thread - Saturday 29th Dec

He's a left back isn't he? Bit of an odd choice for the bench, even if there's an injury with Grimmer and Davis both on the bench things could be reshuffled.

Match Thread Coventry City vs. Southend United Match Thread - Saturday 29th Dec

£13 on the gate or you can go to the ticket office and sign them up for the JSBs, think that's £25, and then they get free entry.

    Trust response to Tim Fisher

The blokes an idiot. Unfortunately the prominence the Trust give him means people listen to him and his cohort and rubbish like this starts getting thrown around as fact. This sort of thing is the reason it was suggested the trust do some myth busting but that doesn't seem to fit with them agenda.

...increase in migrants across the Channel.

Worth a read. Seems the most extensive in terms of numbers, other reports seems to be based off speaking to a handful of people. Why do migrants and asylum seekers want to come to the UK?

    Trust response to Tim Fisher

Sorry to hear about your Nan, went through similar a few months back and no matter how much you're expecting it doesn't make it any easier. To be honest given the situation it looks even worse on the trust that this is all left up to you. They are all capable of spouting off on twitter, why...

    Trust response to Tim Fisher

Lets say Fisher resigns tomorrow, what do you expect to happen then? Assuming he resigns all his roles the club has no chairman and no directors. IMO one of two things will happen. 1) Boddy is given Fishers roles, at least temporarily, surely a disadvantage in any talks with Wasps or 2) SISU...

Suspect this is correct. They seem to have some misguided notion that if Otium folds the club will be handed over to them when in reality it will cease to exist. There's even a note in the minutes of a recent Trust board meeting for them to get an update off Hoffman!

    Wasps current finances & hope

Noticed on the Telegraph site that since Wasps took over the Ricoh the council have decide to become concert promoters and put on events there. Article says the council lost money due to poor sales but can't say how much - would have thought that they'd have accountants that could give them that...

    Trust response to Tim Fisher

How would that work in practice? Fisher would have signed off as the representative of Otium, not himself personally, so removing him doesn't remove that link. There's a decent chance that at least in the short term Boddy would assume Fishers duties which would remove his separation from the...

Guess that would depend if the commercial benefit of having CCFC there outweighed what they'd lose by not changing the pitch.

    Trust response to Tim Fisher

I would be amazed if there is a contract signed by the club last season that explicitly states we will not be staying at the Ricoh past this season without legal action being dropped. It sounds more like a Wasps soundbite.

Would urge everyone to do this. You will most likely get fobbed off as I was with them hiding behind a claim of confidentiality but more people doing it at least makes them aware it is an issue that registers with the electorate.

    Trust response to Tim Fisher

Won't hold your breath. From what I can make out the trust secretary is an ex council CEO and there's another chap who shows as attending board meetings (despite not being listed on their website as a board member) who works for the council.

    Trust response to Tim Fisher

Read the minutes or google the names of those on the board. Its a very small group of supporters, many with their own agendas, doing whatever they feel like irrespective of what the wider fanbase believes or what is best for the future of the club.
