Is this whole thing a Haskell Mk2?

I remember one of the lawyers at work, when we were last in court, having a theory that SISU know they won't win these cases but its all about getting information & documents for something down the line.

    Wasps downward spiral...

Would be the first positive thing SISU have done for the city if they can get Wasps to disappear.

Is this whole thing a Haskell Mk2?

I think you're essentially agreeing with Nick just coming at it from a different angle. The point Nick is making is not about what did or didn't happen but what ACL, the Council and the Trust thought could happen. Hence the huge panic they all went in to when it was revealed things like the...

Is this whole thing a Haskell Mk2?

The thought has occurred to me that in a worse case scenario of us having nowhere to play and losing our place in the league SISU don't have to liquidate the club. They could keep it in existence as a company that is essentially dormant while they see out the legal process. The club, as far as...

    The protest

There's a huge difference. SISU couldn't care less about negative publicity, upsetting the fans or the club in general. That's not the same with Wasps. They seem very sensitive to negative publicity, don't want their fans upset and, even if its not their top priority, want Wasps to be at least...

    The protest

And who made the protest outside the council house. I can find no mention of that anywhere online, did it even happen?

    VAR tonight

Google parallax angles. Comes up in ice hockey, they have cameras on the goal line and above but you can have a puck that clearly looks in on TV but from directly above or directly in line hasn't crossed the goal line. In practice you're more likely to get it right with a camera than the human...

Emiliano Sala (Cardiff Player) on board missing plane

If they aren't paying maybe they did have insurance, or at least not to cover something like this. Not a nice thing to have to dispute but he was a Cardiff player so can't see how they can get out of paying.

    Wanting your team to lose

I’d quite happily lose a meaningless end of season match if it meant Villa being relegated or stopping them being promoted. Apart from that I guess if you were in a competition with a group stage and finishing 2nd offered an easier route forward you might be tempted. Would probably just end up...

If someone will pay up for it, doubt she'd just hand it over.

    Davies on the move

If Willis goes we need to keep him, at least until a replacement comes in. If Willis stays and he doesn't want to stay and fight for a place then let him go. Don't want players here who don't want to be here and equally if a player would rather try elsewhere to get game time rather than sit on...

They were showing the football league around the Butts because we rent an office there to sell tickets?

    The protest

I was at the game and didn't know anything about a protest until I read about it on here. I then looked on here and social media for details and found nothing hence asking about it only to be met with non answers. Since then all I have found is one post on facebook with vague details of a...

    Highfield Road 2

If you read all his statements you will see he chooses his words very carefully. Presumably Sharpe wanting nothing to do with the football club is why our ticket office is based there and why the football league were shown around.

Is this whole thing a Haskell Mk2?

As you say there's more than one side who can back down and we all know that SISU aren't going to suddenly stop the legals no matter how much we want them to. Given that the best point to apply pressure would appear to be Wasps but none of the fans groups, in particular the Trust, seem to want...

I don't for a minute believe you're as naïve as you're making yourself out to be. It is obvious to anyone that having a council backing a major project is a much easier, not to mention quicker, route than having to battle them every step of the way.

Is this whole thing a Haskell Mk2?

Its worrying. There was calls for pressure on all sides and so far we've seen the trust and associates having a go at SISU, have a mutual back patting session with the council and writing to Wasps telling them they understand their position. That's not my definition of pressure on all sides.
