One of the least convincing finishes you'll see in a one on one but it will do!

They should have scored there. Bit let off.

Basically the same as every other game in the last few weeks. Lots of possession and knocking the ball around but no real threat.

Grab a beer or a cup of tea, it’s CCFC!!

Fletcher loved firing out statements about how bids were 'derisory' or similar terms.

Grab a beer or a cup of tea, it’s CCFC!!

Could well be. At the end of the day there were seven interested parties and the six who wanted Ricoh ownership didn't get a positive response from the council, including the council leader publicly ridiculing some of them.

He's at the game and doesn't look like he wasn't available for selection.

Was expecting more changes than that. Hopefully he's not put players in who aren't healthy.

Unless there was another American group involved it must have been Manhattan who the Telegraph were referring to when they reported at the time that following a meeting with the council they got on a plane back to America and immediately ended their interest.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Thought this was generally known. The landing cards, which were for many their only way of showing when they arrived in the country, were destroyed by the Home Office in October 2010 when May was Home Secretary.

Its an incredibly odd thing for Johnson to come out with if there's been no dialogue with ACL / Wasps.

What a load of drivel, how does any of that help anything? Wasn't a surprise to reach the end and see the author is Johnson. Doubt you will find anyone who believes they should keep going down that route. Equally does anyone really believe there is anything that will persuade them to suddenly...

Is this whole thing a Haskell Mk2?

Look at the way the city responded to things like the JPT win and the play offs. Even at that level it was a bigger deal than anything else in recent times.

    New Keeper

Is Burge not out with concussion rather than the flu? If its just for one game why not put Addai in. If he's not up to that then he shouldn't be our keeper on the bench. Some of the posts from Brum fans about Stockdale aren't very complimentary. Genuine or has he upset them somehow? Things like...

Is this whole thing a Haskell Mk2?

The reality is things like fines are part of the rules of competition but even then it doesn't follow that should someone decide to challenge them in court they would hold up. Its just nobody has ever bothered to challenge them as its not worth the hassle. They can push for law changes but they...

Is this whole thing a Haskell Mk2?

Remember when Pompey queried how poor the fit and proper persons test was, and remember at one point they were 'owned' by someone who quite possibly didn't exist, the authorities turned round and said it was basically a box ticking exercise as they couldn't do anything that was open to a legal...

Is this whole thing a Haskell Mk2?

You keep saying the EDL should do more but what do you expect them to do? You're confusing running a business in a legal manner with running a football club in a manner which the fans approve of. SISU, or whatever name you want to use, are a prime example here. They have not broken any laws...
