Thing is we know nothing about the other bidders. We know about Haskell as someone rumbled it. Otherwise he intended to keep stum. Mr Byng is the only one who has his name out their through choice.

To be fair Mr Haskell had that lead prior to the announcement. I think most people realise they no absolutely nothing about Mr Byngs bid at all. Other than he says his backing is in Asia and they want a footprint in the UK.
