Stupid question, I suppose, but is going with a £100 or £200 if you factor in the losing bet the best way to start or can the terrified (that's my mate, not me obviously) start with a smaller amount? Or is it not worth doing that?
Thanks Noggin, makes sense. However, what happens if that Spurs game ended up a draw? Apologies if this is "smash me in the face" obvious, but as I said I'm not a gambler.
Sounds interesting, Noggin. Heard about this before but didn't realise it was matched. To be honest I've never been a better and have only been into a bookies about five times in nearly fifty years. Usually to put my £1 each way on the Grand National.
The Rolling Stones. Could never understand why they were so popular. Can't even think of five truly good tracks by them. Coldplay. Awful turgid bollocks. Spandau Ballet. Insipid cabaret fodder. It's also not clever to hold your pencil thin microphone between you thumb and forefinger.
Pressley: Where am I?
Waggott: In the Ricoh.
Pressley: What do you want?
Waggott: We want promotion.
Pressley: Whose side are you on?
Waggott: That would be telling. We want promotion... promotion... promotion.
Pressley: You won't get it.
Waggott: By hook or by crook, we will.
Pressley: Who are...
It's the forum equivalent of him screaming "Oh my God! Look behind you!" You turn round, there's nothing there. You turn back and Italia's gone. Diversion.
The issue for me is she's done exactly what she was attacking SISU over. Also her guarantees that CCFC and CRFC would be fine with Wasps here was nothing short of scandalous. She has no idea how it will pan out for either club.
Although I'm a labour man through and through I hope she falls on...
No, it's a tenner for league games. Before Sixfields we used to buy a parking ST but haven't bothered since we came back. It was actually £195 a season for us, I think.
