He can be a good defender and organiser for this level. Trouble is when he makes a mistake they tend to be pretty huge and cost us. Anyone who's played as a defender know you can play great for 89 mins, make one slip and you're responsible for the team losing and that's all everyone remembers

But we are. Plus Man City at times are almost playing attack v defence so the entire team has pushed up and the midfielders play far closer to the strikers than we do most of the time.

Far more clinical strikers. And when they get that first goal they don't just defend it - they carry on playing the way they were.

Welcome win but again that was much, much more difficult than it should've been second half. MR once again reluctant to make changes even when the balance shifted in theri favour. He recognises it as his post-match interview last week showed but in actual game situation he just won't do anything.

We need to change things up. Whether that's Allen and/or O'Hare for Westbrooke/Shipley or bring on Biamou to go two up top and O'Hare just behind not sure, but it's just getting too frenetic.

Encouraging first half but you you're always a bit wary once we hit the break 1-0 up. You're almost expecting them to bring on another striker, us to retreat into our own half and let them come into it. But we shall see.

Personally I'd think if you were going to go above what is currently there you'd leave them in as a placeholder you can add to. Just removing them is far more likely to be because you're just not going to continue with them.
