    St Andrews confirmed!

Chance for the trust to redeem themselves. Start campaigning for people to go in numbers, arrange transport to make sure the kids an old boys can get over there. And make it clear that there will be protests at every single Wasps game. Frankly the time for all this 'don't upset them' bollocks...

    St Andrews confirmed!

Have said all along everything SISU had done was reversible with new owners. The second the council sold the ground to Wasps we were fucked long term.

    St Andrews confirmed!

Brilliant idea, we'd have no club at all then.

    St Andrews confirmed!

Secret meeting with Eastwood nobody is allowed to know any details of and suddenly Wasps are blameless. Can't believe people are stupid enough to fall for it.

    St Andrews confirmed!

That's my concern. Can't see a way back in the short to medium term. Realistically we are looking at Wasps going bust, and I wouldn't bet against a bail out via the council if they got in trouble, or someone basically gifting the club the money to build a new ground, and the council being...

    St Andrews confirmed!

Spot on. Wasps took on the risk by purchasing a ground mired in legal action. Can't believe for a second their legal team did't flag up the risk. So that means either they sought indemification from the council who refused or they didn't bother to seek it. Either way they took on the risk and...

    St Andrews confirmed!

Big surprise that the Wasps Telegraph makes no mention of their demands.

If you think there's no defending this probably best to not read the replies to the tweet.

    St Andrews confirmed!

Be interesting to hear more about this, not just indemnity? What other protections are they seeking and why would the club be expected to cover other related parties as well as Wasps, who are they including in that?

    St Andrews confirmed!

This is the key line: Reading the article it seems Wasps were insisting the club indemnify them if they and / or the council were found to be in the wrong. No way the club would agree to that and its quite right that they shouldn't.

Club Statement regarding EFL vote and stadium situation

Hard to know with the Telegraph these days. So much shit is made up and later turns out to be wrong. On the other hand we know the council and Wasps feed them information so could be using them to get the story out the way they want it presented.

Club Statement regarding EFL vote and stadium situation

Exactly, what they're not agreeing to makes a massive difference. Sisu refused to agree to one year renewal or Sisu refused to agree to 50 year £2m a year deal are two very different things. Hope this isn't laying the groundwork for Wasps making a terrible offer to be able to say its all SISUs...

    Spice Girls

Exactly right. I've never heard anyone mention their issue with Wasps being the league they play in. The issues raised are moving clubs halfway across the country and the damage that does to the cities existing teams.

Wasps, the people who own the venue where the event is happening. The people our local paper, not to mention local council support no questions asked while sticking the boot in to the football club.

Seven tweets about his in the last 30 mins from the Telegraph and its the only thing you see when you go on their website. Not exactly subtle with their PR for Wasps are they.

You'd be pissed off if Willis and Hyam dropped a couple of clangers like that let alone players who are supposed to be the best in the country.

Club Statement regarding EFL vote and stadium situation

Sure it all helps, missing out on Europe, botched concerts, other concerts being cancelled. None of that is likely to make them better off financially when we know they are already stretched.

    England cricket 2019

This is like watching the Windies in their glory days. Australia need to get their act together very quickly or they're going to give their bowlers nothing to work with.
