Match Thread Bristol Rovers Match Thread

Marosi Rose....Fadz...Hyam Dabo...Kelly....Walsh....Mason Allen.....O'Hare Godden Subs: Wilson, McCallum, Pask, Shipley, Westbrooke, Biamou, Baka McCallum, Shipley and Zain have looked a bit tired recently so I'd change them around. Also worth giving McCallum a rest given his transfer to give...

    Robins post match/mcallum sale

I did say earlier it has to take into account the accrued interest which isn't investment. All I'm saying is the amount of 'investment' is how much they put in since they bought the club and administration plus the amount they've been putting in to cover cash losses since that has not been...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

While that very kind of you I did also have an earlier post that disagreed about Brexit being just a 'racist decision' - racism will have played a part in it but so would many other factors - and that the problem is an English rather than British problem.

As you say THEY set up numerous companies who lent money. So it's all under the same SISU umbrella. It's legal and accounting semantics but ultimately that money can be traced back to our owners.

    Transfer Rumour Sam McCallum gone

If we've got £3-3.5m before add-ons etc that is a good price. Indifferent about the loan back as we have Mason waiting in the wings but what if Mason got injured or struggled to recapture his early season form? as I said above at least if McCallum does seem to have his head elsewhere (although...

    Transfer Rumour Sam McCallum gone

Not sure of that. Maddison is a local lad and came through our academy. They tend to get given more leeway. Also McCallum is far from the finished article and can make the odd error/poor pass etc. I don't think it'd take too many for some fans to get on his back and see how he deals with it...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

There is a possibility that some of those who were saying they wanted to regain control of our laws or even said they had issues with immigration due to the number and the pressure it was putting on services and housing may have done so as a cover for a more racist reason which they knew...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

I've not seen many, if any, people argue that racism is not a problem here or that Brexit hasn't emboldened the true racists. It's been argued we have a problem many times on this thread alone. But to say the problem here is worse than elsewhere is nonsense. And to say the problem is almost...

    Film Thread 2019

Where did you watch it? Doesn't seem to be showing in Coventry. My sister really wants to go and watch it cos it sounds similar to the Flannan Isle lighthouse story, which is the basis of a computer game she enjoyed playing.

    Robins post match/mcallum sale

There is the issue of how much of that 'investment' was/is accrued interest rather than money they've actually put in. But just because they were forced to capitalise it under the admin doesn't mean it no longer counts at all. If anything that counts more as investment because they can't ask...

Are you forgetting that following our administration they had to capitalise all their debt up to that point, which is effectively writing it off. So the current debt level in the accounts is from admin onwards and everything before that 'disappeared'.

    Time forsome changes

I'd bring in O'Hare, Allen and Mason for Shipley, Westbrooke and McCallum this weekend which then also gives the option to bring in Pask for either Dabo or McFadzean, Biamou for Godden and possibly let Allen drop into Kelly's position and bring one of Shipley/Zain back (and get JJ on the bench)...

I think it's more the being controlled by the US instead.

That's why I see them as support for Godden, not instead of (unless in dire emergency). Godden has been chasing scraps rather than being able to get into the area looking for chances. Hasn't helped himslef with offsides at times but with someone doing more of the donkey work to allow him to get...

    Robins post match/mcallum sale

The sale as always depends on how much he goes for, how much can we put towards improving the squad and who's available. Also have to factor in how McCallum would feel about being denied the move. One plus point would be that we do have another left back ready to step in immediately so it's not...

    New Labour Leader

Could well end up like last time - Dem's win popular vote but set up of electoral college makes it favourable for Rep's. Also not sure what gerrymandering has gone on in the last few years and I think some places have brought in voter ID etc which will affect Dem supporters to a far greater...
