Must just be another one of those strange coincidences that seems to happen regularly with our council.

Are you sure that's a mate and not a movie you've watched?

It's like they're just making shit up as they go along and hoping nobody notices.

What year did you go? I went to do my CS degree in 92 and there was around 200 people on the course. Definitely over a quarter female. Obviously not equal but not insignificant.

I don't get why Keogh gets a hard time. Sure he's not the most skillful player in the world but he knows his limitations and has had a decent career.

I fear the plan is it fails. If you recall the council have tried to scrap it before and there was too much resistance. Then last year they put a fence round it and claimed it wasn't part of any plan to bring in charges. This year they've brought in charges, not made it clear to people what...

Turns out there's no blame on Wasps. Salop888 has spoken on twitter and 'The negative impact on the local economy is Seppala’s fault' o_O

    so wasps were involved ?

Even if they’ve been planning it for a while it doesn’t mean it’s not related to us going, that’s not something that has happened out of the blue. ACL is already short staffed in some areas having not replaced people who have left, laying more people off hardly sounds like a business going from...

    so wasps were involved ?

But that’s the problem. The Telegraph and CWR both just put out statements from Wasps without questioning the content. It’s presented as news with him saying ‘A spokesman tells me the restructure is nothing to do with the CCFC situation’. If he’s just putting out their pr he should make that...

Over 60% of the tickets sold. Good effort considering they only went on sale yesterday.

Nobody can possibly be as naive as Gilbert makes himself look by refusing to apply pressure where Wasps are concerned. So after Reid broke the story Wasps feed him a scrap of information - which may as well be Fishers ‘normal business practice’ soundbite he used to get ripped apart for, while...

Reckon if you look at any club that has a decent academy you'll find players were let go that later came good. Doesn't even mean if they'd be retained they'd be as good, sometimes getting released can be the wake up call.

Don't know which room they're using, possibly a smaller one as its short notice but if it was the marquee which holds 400 that's £13K to hire, which works out at £32.50 per person if its a sell out.

What Type Of Concert Person Are You ?

Who else went to Phoenix Festival in Stratford? 96 was a brilliant line up, the traffic to get to the site not so brilliant.

I think a lot of people don't realise one ticket does't cover all weekend so that could cause problems as well.

    so wasps were involved ?

I suspect when the council, wasps etc say CCFC aren't needed and will make no difference to the business most people don't assume that means people will lose their jobs. At best its misleading and given their track record I doubt that was accidental.

    so wasps were involved ?

But we've had months, if not years, of people telling us CCFC are insignificant and not playing at the Ricoh wouldn't impact on ACL.
