    Fisher on new stadium

If CCC had waited until SISU had left, which they will do one day, then they could have done a deal with the new owners and then the football club would be united with its own stadium in its own city. Revenue would have been ours. The stadium would have been "ours" maybe for 250 years.

Coventry City 'can't survive in League One' and have their priorities wrong

Thank God we've got such a supportive council who will back the city's team. We'd be in big trouble if not.

FFS, not this again. And where have we been since 2005? We will NEVER own our own stadium again no matter who owns CCFC. Same applies to the majority of stadia.

Well, I'm hoping TM has something up his sleeve. I don't think the pitch will be an issue tonight for Bradford as they'll just play their normal game as the ball will fly over the heads of midfield straight into our box. I'm hoping Webster plays tonight.

You're not going to get me disagreeing with you. I totally understand which is why I find is so bizarre how some are quite openly welcoming Wasps to Coventry. As I said though SISU won't be here forever, but unfortunately, it seems that Wasps will be. That will have more of a long term affect...

Both really. Franchising is wrong, don't need to remind you of the anger when we moved even temporarily to Northampton. Secondly, the Council decision screwed (good choice of words) the Club as we're now between a rock and a hard place. Ideally, for me we would have a new stadium somewhere...

Personally, I'm hoping for Wasps to fail, they fuck off back to where they came from and then the Council sees sense and does a deal with the team from their own city.

And I keep asking you but don't get a reply; why would Wasps sign some of their revenues away to us when they aren't exactly in a great position themselves?

Ah, it's easy to just "do a deal with Wasps" then, is it? They'll be quite happy to give away their revenues will they? They're loss making (yes, they are MMM), their crowds are falling and they have a big loan to pay back. I wouldn't hold my breath over a deal with Wasps.

Some do have a bizarre attitude, I must say.

Shame we won't be around in 2265 for when the lease expires.

I still reckon that even if SISU left tomorrow then any new owner would see the need to leave the Ricoh and have our own place. Or, as Duffer said on another thread, wait for Wasps to fail. Preferable option for me.

Club did not pay JR costs according to chairman

Now that Jordan Clarke has left then the Nandos bill will drop dramatically.

Oh OK, Noggin. Thanks. I just presumed they were "overheads".

Club did not pay JR costs according to chairman

Probably not that far off what with wages, running costs, etc. Also, included the £471K to ACL.

what can Mowbray change for tues ?

What time is the deadline then? I thought it was 12pm on a match day? If we're too late then he needs to sort a keeper out for Saturday. Short term then, Barton our Odelusi in. Martin out, Webster in.
