What would the different be in this development compared to the hotel they have just refused planning for next to the Ricoh on the basis it would detract from the city centre. Not the first hotel application the council have rejected on that basis.

Just to make sure I'm not misunderstanding you're saying a hotel chain, lets use Travelodge as an example, build a hotel paying all the costs. Once that hotel is built Travelodge then pay Wasps to rent the hotel despite Wasps having not put a penny in. How does that work? They aren't paying...

According to the geniuses on the Wasps forum they are going to get the hotel operator to pay to build it and then once they've done that they will also pay rent to Wasps. Not sure there will be many hotel chains wanting to take them up on that fantastic deal.

That's fair enough but surely then she'd be out with the Coventry South candidate. If she was going to be the only one out campaigning why didn't they just put her up in the winnable seat and put the candidate who can't be bothered in the no hope seat.
