That's fair enough but surely then she'd be out with the Coventry South candidate. If she was going to be the only one out campaigning why didn't they just put her up in the winnable seat and put the candidate who can't be bothered in the no hope seat.

    General Election 2019 thread

Genuine question before anyone gets the hump. Does anyone know why the Coventry South Conservative candidate has done little to no canvassing? There was talk of it being a seat they could win but she seems to have only turned up for photo ops with Boris Johnson and Nicky Morgan. Looking on...

Most people could say the same. Lets face it unless you live in one of a handful of marginals you might as well not bother voting.

    Poll the general election

Here's the underlying data if you want to provide your own analysis. Just thought it was interesting to post a survey from someone other than ComRes, YouGov, ICM, Panelbase, BMG etc who all use essentially the same methodology. If you recall some of the most accurate predictions of previous...

    More Wasps BS?

Do you not see a pattern of behaviour from the council to benefit Wasps over anybody else? That should be a concern both in relation to CCFC and as local residents in general.

Mentioned this last night but the weightings they are using seem way off to me. This tweet shows it well. A 65% youth turnout last time dropping to 52% this time while the pensioner vote increases 10-15% seems off to me. Could be significant as those two age groups are the ones who largely...

There is no way any journalist, let alone one of her experience and seniority, doesn't know you can't do what she did. You can't even report on exit polls until after all voting ends.

    Poll the general election

Looks like its getting closer by the hour. What are your thoughts on Johnson running off and hiding in a fridge to avoid answering any questions?

    More Wasps BS?

Don't see anyway even our council can approve Wasps application having turned down one literally metres away on the basis it would take business away from the city centre. Surely whoever put that application in would be straight on to their lawyers if that happened. Also have Wasps actually...

Kienssberg and Peston both reported, based on information from ‘senior Conservative sources’ that Hancock had been punched by a Labour activist. However there was video footage showing it to be untrue.

Electoral Commission seem to be aware, they’ve just tweeted this: sure it will be claimed it’s just another BBC error but isn’t it odd how they have made multiple errors favouring the Conservatives and not one favouring Labour?

You forgot the Channel 4 interview with Guru-Murphy, Rochester speech (cancelled because of 5 protesters) and he even no showed his own constituency meeting which had been rearranged to suit his schedule.

Johnson’s chickened out of another interview. This time with Jeremy Vine on Radio 2, only party leader not to appear.

Conservatives now claiming Johnson wasn’t hiding in the fridge, he was in there preparing for an interview. Do they really expect anyone to believe this shit?

Do you really think there will be a meltdown? From day one everyone has predicted a Conservative majority. The only surprise looks likely to be how small the majority is considering how strongly they were polling when Johnson decided to call an election.
