Match Thread Coventry City vs. Lincoln City Match Thread - Saturday 21st Dec

Not a bad effort from Shipley. Not sure the keeper had that covered if it had been a bit lower.

How hard is it for them to get the commentary roughly in sync with the pictures? Every week its the same problem.

Clive moaning about Santa now. He'd prefer to be back commentating on matches in the 60s wouldn't he!

    More Wasps BS?

Suspect you've already guessed the answer to this is no. The only person who puts any questions to them is Les Reid but they can ignore him because they have the rest of the local media onside. Beyond belief that even if the local media won't push them our own supporters trust won't either.

Match Thread Coventry City vs. Lincoln City Match Thread - Saturday 21st Dec

Not a big fan of the one up front but when we go two up front we tend to get overrun in midfield. We should be allowed 12 players, that would solve the problem.

    Kean / Duncan Ferguson

Wasn't as bad as least week. He came on early, in the 11th minute, on for Iwobi who looked like he did his hamstring, and wasn't subbed until the 80th minute. He was shit but so was everyone, terrible game.

Not a bad run for Ferguson. 4 games unbeaten, win against Chelsea and draws against Man Utd, Leicester and Arsenal.

    Wasps downward spiral...

I've seen multiple people posting today on social media saying they have 10 or more tickets for this weekends game. They're clearly desperate to make it look busy seeing as they've been hyping it up as a huge event / sellout. But this will come back to bite them. As some of us pointed out when...

    Wasps downward spiral...

Just had a look on their forum to see if there was any response to the piece on Midlands Today, or the negative responses to the tweet from the presenter and in the telegraph. Not a mention. Did however see a post that every season ticket holder has been emailed offering them 20 additional free...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Looks like the misconduct in public office case against Johnson, which was about the slogan on the bus being knowingly deceptive, could be heading back to court. Turns out Judge Supperstone, who had the case thrown out without it going before a jury, used to be Johnson's lawyer but 'forgot' to...

    More Wasps BS?

That's absolutely disgusting. Would like to see any of their supporters try and defend that.

    More Wasps BS?

Well thats something, more than CWR or the Telegraph would do. Obviously it was recut as the part of the interview they used to trail the piece is no longer in there so well done to everyone who picked up on that. If Midlands Today were ever in any doubt as to what people in Coventry think of...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

That should have stayed in. This idea that its not needed because something better is on the way is nonsense. If whatever is planned gives workers more rights there would be no issue with leaving it in, the only reason you'd need to take it out is if you're not going to maintain the current...

Could have been paired. Or thought there was no point as it was inevitably going to be voted through. Vote remain get moaned at by leavers, vote leave get moaned at by remainers.

    New Labour Leader

No idea, I read that Long-Bailey and Raynor was a joint leader and deputy bid so assumed they picked. Maybe they elect a leader then do the whole thing again for deputy. Suppose that is more democratic but it drags things out.

Wasn't this weekend supposed to be their big Christmas sell out game? Just seen this conversation on my Facebook page. Does anyone actually pay?

    New Labour Leader

What happened to the cult of Corbyn then? Assuming it is Starmer, and it seems his to lose at the moment, wonder who he would go for as deputy. Does he pick Long-Bailey or Raynor to keep the left happy or go with someone more mainstream.
