You know, I was the opposite. It was good that we'd signed someone I'd heard of and not from Bristol Rovers, but I did think to myself he was past it. How wrong I was.
Now, I don't get this kind of thing. He certainly didn't bleed the club dry and was a great player for us. His stats don't lie. I think he got it in the neck more from fans because he WAS from Cov if anything.
I know. All this stuff they're doing it annoying. You must be struggling to come up with anything to moan about. Even Pressley is gone so you can't give us one of your bullying tales. Don't worry, sure something will turn up.
I used to love Far Gosford Street in the early 90s; used to go there and trawl through the second hand shops for records. Not been there in years. I've heard of Fargo Village but not had the chance to go there yet. Might try and check it out tomorrow if it's open.
Manchester City, Norwich City, Derby County, Southampton, Leicester City, Leeds United...teams going through bad times but attendances didn't drop as sharply as ours, even before the Sixfields disaster.
The 7-1 defeat was my first away game. Different era I know but that Southampton result at the Dell was a shocker too. Was it Lloys's debut?
