Good to see they're worrying about things like this rather than PPE for medical staff or making sure people can get food.

    Surely its now time

Reckon there’s zero chance at the moment. Wasps have just had to ask their players to take a 25% salary cut, the bond price is tanking and it looks like the economy will be in a terrible state when they have to refinance the bond.

The more people ignore what they're being told isn't that going to mean the longer the restrictions are in place? If the option is social distancing for 18 months or thousands of unnecessary deaths I know which one I'd choose.

It's like with the supermarkets, if people just acted as normal we'd be fine but people are acting like selfish pricks. I walk the dog in the memorial park all the time, before all this you'd only see a handful of people unless it was a bank holiday or some event. Now its rammed with people...

You could easily solve this but nobody seems to be trying. Have the supermarkets take orders from NHS staff and make deliveries to the hospitals at the end of their shifts.

    Supermarket shortages

Nothing near me either. Must depend on where you live. Tried three local shops today for bread and milk and nowhere to be seen. Not much else in there either and they weren't sure when they'd be restocked or what they'd be getting. What's it been now, two weeks of panic buying? No sign of it...

Don't buy the 'we had no way of predicting this' argument either. Plenty of people have been warning of something like this for years. Fair enough for it to be a shock to your average person on the street but why are those in charge so unprepared? One example from 2015:
