Meeting with Joy Seppala & Dave Boddy - Thursday 27th February 2020

In which case they should come out and say that.

Think you're mixing up two things. Agents, such as CBRE who were previously engaged by the club - not sure if they still are, will approach land owners with a view to purchasing land. That is where SISU / CCFC wouldn't be mentioned. Conversations with the council will be around things such as...

    Cllr Maton

My current councillors are all Conservative. Going to drop them a mail and see if they agree with Duggins. Will put it from a business POV rather than football, ie: do they agree with Duggins that the council has no role to play in assisting a business worth in excess of £10m a year to the...

    Our Landlords (BCFC)...astonishing stuff

I've heard people mention that figure before but it seems high to me. Of course when dealing with football stadiums 'rent' is very often not comparing like with like. It could be its approaching that figure but includes all match day costs, car parking, hospitality, policing etc which would...

    New TV series 2019

Started last night with 2 episodes on Fox. Wasn't going to bother but saw good things being said on twitter so might give it a go.

Wasps have probably decided not to bother seeing as its council land.

    WASPS Interim Accounts 2019

They used to be in the Telegraph before they would even appear on Wasps own site when they could spin it as positive. Now its gone to shit they quietly post it up and hope nobody notices while the Telegraph completely ignore it.

Seeing as the like to present everything as cross party might be worth contacting the leader of Coventry Conservatives and asking if they agree with Duggins that the council has no role to play in returning a business worth £10m+ a year to the local economy back to the city.

Amazes me they have the balls to print stuff like this. It's literally someone going out and doing their job for them and rather than be embarrassed about it they just lift it for their own clicks.

Makes me laugh that Gilbert in the past moaned about people on the forum posting quotes from the Telegraph but they will lift things off here without a second thought. Odd that there is no mention of him being questioned on the economic value to the city.

I can't believe this wouldn't have come up, Wasps legal team would have had to be incompetent beyond belief to have missed it. So the only conclusion you can really draw is that it was refused. In turn that leads you to then question why.

    Figure?

People keep saying its contacted out like the revenue suddenly doesn't matter. Do people really think the car parking company, for example, signed a contract with ACL knowing we might leave and take £440K a year in revenue with us without there being something in the contract to cover that?

Impact on Local Businesses of CCFC Move to Birmingham

Casino is an obvious one, although as ACL are their landlords they might not want to go on the record. There's all the places nearby that do unofficial parking. Must be loads, not sure of specific names but if you factor in pubs, take aways, hotels for away fans, taxis then it has to have a...

    Next season Shirt concepts

Is there really an article on the Telegraph site where they've asked some random bloke to guess what kit we might have next season? Can't see it being anything like those. Didn't someone from Hummel already say they're bespoke kits again next year and something that would be unexpected or...

Meeting with Joy Seppala & Dave Boddy - Thursday 27th February 2020

I'm not violently against it or desperate to avoid it but lets looks at facts. Everyone who has talked about the EC complaint says it can't be withdrawn. Not to mention Wasps haven't actually requested this, or if they have I can't find it. The EC procedures are freely available online and I...

Meeting with Joy Seppala & Dave Boddy - Thursday 27th February 2020

You do realise the EC isn't just one person sat at a desk you can ring up and have a chat to don't you? To deal with the EC you have to use their formal processes which are all detailed and freely available for the public to examine on their website. Which process outlined on there do you...

Meeting with Joy Seppala & Dave Boddy - Thursday 27th February 2020

There is absolutely no reason we can't play at the Ricoh while 'we wait for our owner to finish her legal fetish'. After all if all is above board as claimed there's nothing for Wasps or the council to worry about and therefore no need for the indemnity. Just treat SISU like a child having a...

If they won't they you stick that in a press release. Say you asked for an on the record meeting with Wasps and they refused.

Meeting with Joy Seppala & Dave Boddy - Thursday 27th February 2020

Frankly I would snap your hand off for a ground like Shrewsbury's at the moment. At least we'd be playing in Cov. Modular grounds are the emerging trend in stadium builds, a lot of the World Cup grounds will be done that way, there's even one ground that they're planning to take apart after the...
