    Wasps downward spiral...

He's on the board at Wasps Lawrence Dallaglio returns to board | Ricoh Arena | Wasps Rugby Makes me wonder if there are any checks in place to ensure that the employees companies claim for are genuinely not working.

    O Hare contract

Wouldn't read too much into him not having signed. Doubt thats the first thing on his mind at the moment! Pretty sure Robins would like to keep him and will have told him that so maybe he's waiting to see what happens with Villa and how that could impact his game time.

    Wasps downward spiral...

Still nothing in the Telegraph but they have managed to publish this Wasps staff ordered to take three months leave but no jobs cut Sure its a shock to us all that Wasps are at the front of the queue for a taxpayer handout.

    Who’s at work/Not at work?

Weird isn't it. My Mum, in her seventies, is the first one to say don't do things to me, she was going on 3 weeks ago that I should cancel a weekend in London I had planned. But then I've just phoned her to say I've got the shopping and will drop it round, leaving it outside, and she announces...

    Coronavirus

I've had a persistent cough for a couple of months now and some weird symptoms. Doctor couldn't work out what it was, even sent me for an x-ray to check it wasn't lung cancer! He said there was something unusual going around so who knows, maybe more people have had it than we realise. Although...

Is that the best distribution method? Or is it a case of if you can afford one you're ok but if you're skint tough? Who keeps track of who has had a test if its order it yourself off Amazon. If you're allowing people out of lockdown are you just taking their word for it?

I've literally just had an email from Tesco which says to go and stop in the store rather than try and get a delivery or click & collect. They don't give a shit as long as they're making money.

    Who’s at work/Not at work?

Think he's looking at the business interruption scheme. Business are being signposted to that as the job retention scheme "systems are not set up to facilitate payments to employers". The detail that seems to be missing is if when the system is up and running payments will be backdated. Would...

    Coronavirus Thread (Off Topic, Politics)

Trying to get that sorted but there doesn't seem to me much detail on how to get them on it. Bit annoying as they're Sainsburys regulars so they have all their details (and by regulars I mean they go at the same time every week and buy the same things!). That would be best and then with a bit...

    Who’s at work/Not at work?

In short the system isn't set up yet. But it looks like your employer keeps paying you but designates you furloughed so you don't actually work. Reading it sounds like you get all your salary but the employer can claim 80% from the government but I might be misunderstanding that. Edit: to...

Anyone tried the supermarkets today? My parents are nearly out of food and in the high risk category so I'll have to go shopping for them tomorrow. Hope it has calmed down a bit. Already know if I don't get exactly what's on my Mums list she'll complain!

    Home Working Thread

The resistance to home working is ridiculous. Quite often seems to come from senior managers who funnily enough work from home themselves, think that says a lot about how productive they are when not in the office. I work in an office on my own, just need a laptop, yet have to commute nearly...

    Who’s at work/Not at work?

Wonder how they came up with 80%, seems a bit random. Do they reckon that's the cost of going to work?

    Who’s at work/Not at work?

Same here. Not a huge difference for me as I'm the only one based in the Midlands. Just saves me sitting in traffic every day to get to the office which for unknown reasons they decided should be in Blythe Valley. Only real difference is no site visits but they weren't that frequent anyway...

    Coronavirus

Wonder how you get registered as vulnerable? My parents would both come under that and used to have a weekly Sainsbury's shop before all this started but can't get anything booked in now. Means tomorrow I'm going to have to try and do their shopping for them which I'm not looking forward to.
