I actually think we are really lucky with our squad at the moment and we have some genuine professionals in there. Not just Tudgay but Fleck, Ricketts, Stokes and, of course, Cole who really impressed me in his interview. We have a special group of players at the moment.

Well, as stated yesterday Villa have already sanctioned him playing in the First Round for us, so he can probably see himself that his Villa career is over. He won't be short of offers though. Until the end of the season would do me.

I don't see not signing Eagles as a failure. By the sounds of it Mowbray didn't know anything about it so one of two things happened; Eagles approached Bury or Bury approached Eagles. Either way, it shows a lack of professionalism from Eagles by not keeping Mowbray informed.
