    Does anybody.....

We've had optimism this season, haven't we? Top of the league, in the top six for six months, a 6-0 win, 5-0, 4-0 win, 4-1 win. A sticky patch and they fuck off again. I agree with your last point though. Certain fans will only attend when the going is good so if we are doing well then...

I would rather have ricketts there and leave Haynes at Cambridge. Sent from my SM-N910F using Tapatalk

I'm more happy with that. We always seem to do better and raise our game against the "tougher teams".

Now we know why Andy Turner isn't a manager

My past is littered with all my favourite players leaving. Well, until this season when I decided my favourite player was going to be Jack Finch. And Lee Burge.

McLaren sack imminent, Armstrong recall imminent?

He wouldn't have to demand, would he? To be honest, I'm not sure we'd miss him at the moment.

    83/84 vs 15/16

    No, he was his successor.

Yep, that's right. Another Richardson fuck-up.

    83/84 vs 15/16

I remember in 93/94 after he'd been sacked that we had a sit in demanding he was re-instated. In fact, I was in the picture in the paper. I'm the chubby one, bottom right. Looks like I'm holding the sign, but I'm not.

    83/84 vs 15/16

I don't think I did call for his head and I can't remember anyone else doing so either. Things were different back in them days. Good memories.

McLaren sack imminent, Armstrong recall imminent?

To be honest most of the time Armstrong struggles with L1 defences. Although he's undoubtedly a very good player, he certainly isn't ready for the Premier League just yet.

Time to wake up and smell the coffee

Exactly. Because fans scream for the managers head then have the cheek to complain that we have to start all over again. Vicious circle perpetuated by the fans.

Time to wake up and smell the coffee

Oh yeah, I'm not saying people shouldn't think it's all doom and gloom and that the season is over, just saying I won't be thinking like that until it is mathematically impossible to get into the top six. Not sure what you mean about "false dawns". It's been rubbish for years, I can't...

Time to wake up and smell the coffee

Yes, it is realism and if things don't change then chances are we will finish mid table. However, things do change, hence why we aren't trailblazing like we were at the beginning of the season, because things have...well, changed. I'm a "it's ain't over until it's over" kind of guy. So...
