That would never happen! I think we should write to the Council though, just in case.

    Players who are staying

Stevenson is a decent player. Seen him a few times and he always looks more than capable of being in an L1 team. He will hopefully start appearing on the bench at the very least next season.

    Attractive clubs list

I reckon we're number 87 out of the 92 on the "attractive investment opportunity" list.

    It could have been us

    Exactly. It's not difficult.

If it was hard to sell to SISU then don't sell. It's an asset for the people of Coventry don't forget and it was also apparently doing rather well. Sit on it and wait until CCFC have new and proper owners and let the club who have been in the city for a 130 years prosper rather than a team...

    It could have been us

Exactly, shows how really spiteful CCC were as ultimately they weren't only getting on over on SISU, but on CCFC and the fans of the city's football club.

    It could have been us

I thought that. Then they sold to Wasps whose owners are no better.

    Joe Cole

    Not a good example.

No, I don't. Didn't Manhattan bail out as they couldn't deal with the Council? They certainly were provoked, but "spite" really doesn't cover selling a 250 lease to an out of town franchise. That really is spiteful. After all, SISU won't be here forever. Thanks to the Council, Wasps will.

Anybody want Kieran Crowley's old job?

I think they just know the fan base very well. CCFC fans have a knack of turning most things into a crisis.

Anybody want Kieran Crowley's old job?

He isn't being replaced. He's got another job with the FAI. Still, I guess you could always make something more exciting up.

True. Ah well, maybe we'll get a crack at the Ricoh in 248 years. Can't wait.

    It could have been us

The £37 million cost of the new stadium, combined with relegation from the Premiership, the collapse of the English transfer market due to the introduction of the transfer window and the collapse of ITV Digital meant that Leicester went into receivership shortly after moving to the new stadium...

    It could have been us

Because they knew they could buy it and own it, which they did. Obviously, not much chance of that with CCC.

    It could have been us

I bet they were stumbling over themselves to buy a club who didn't own their own ground. Despite the popular myth on here that a team doesn't need to own a ground I think any perspective investor wants bricks and mortar as well as a team name and some players.

Anybody want Kieran Crowley's old job?

I think you have to do a lot and have a lot of qualifications for only 24K though.

    Mean while back in court

Oh yes. I see him now. The one next to the guy with the PS4, wearing a rolex and a crown?

    Mean while back in court

Looks like the sly buggers have been eating food and drinking water and stuff too.
