    8 years progress or regression

Its possibly the only situation in which not having a ground works to our advantage. No maintenance costs to pay out, even if you completely mothball somewhere like the Ricoh you're going to have no insignificant costs.

    WASPS Interim Accounts 2019

That's actually a pretty good summary for a change, their fans usually seem to have their heads buried in the sand when it comes to this. Missed one big issue, the bond matures on 13th May 2022. We all know there's zero chance of them having the cash to repay it, any concerns have always been...

Will bookies pay out if we win on ppg?

The bookies always win so I'd guess voiding and refunding everyones bets would cost them more than paying out for the winners. Besides if you've bet on us getting promoted and we get promoted you've won your bet haven't you?

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

Anyone notice Sky's press release says they're showing all 15 play off games across the 3 EFL divisions. Doesn't that imply Tranmere's proposal of extra play off games isn't happening?

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

There was 7 weeks left in the Championship so they've only really 'lost' 2 months subscription but equally there wouldn't normally be EFL games in June and July so they've gained 2 months there. They've also gained 10 extra live games. That all seems to pretty much even out to me so not sure...

    8 years progress or regression

Are you seriously asked why our fans hate a club that happily moved halfway across the country and then kicked us out of the only EFL standard ground in Coventry?

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

How come they have to pay millions back if the fixtures are being played and shown live on Sky?

    8 years progress or regression

On the pitch its hard to argue we're not better off. We were a team suffering years of decline with a bloated squad of players looking for a payday. We're now a team on the up and, while we're not self sufficient, the team budget seems to be under control. Off the pitch not being tied to an...

    Coronavirus Thread (Off Topic, Politics)

If you go to the shops or the park over the last couple of weeks its like nothing had ever happened. I suppose at least between the VE Day parties, crowded parks & beaches and now the protests it will give the scientists some data to work with depending on how big the spike is, should help with...

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

Even if you believe his massively over simplified version of the financial situation he's talking about an extra team being in L1 next season. The knock on effect is L2 being one team short so the teams with the least income would lose more money.

Good news for us but bad for others.

Wonder if he'll stick to his word and quit if they don't get promoted. I'm going to guess he won't.

    A dilemma-what would you do?

Zero chance of the league rejecting them. The fit and proper test is self certification and unless you've been convicted of something is virtually useless. Plenty of business is done between the UK and Saudi so on what grounds could they block it? There's a lot of dodgy owners when you start...

    Sky Blue Trust Letter

The part where they're complaining about the club not engaging with the Trust, IMO that's not likely to change without removing certain people from the Trust. If they really do want a relaunch then those that have worked against the club in the past need to go before any attempt to engage with...

Who is that bloke? Every time you post one of his tweets up he's claiming the numbers aren't really as high as being stated due to backdating. At no point has the number been given been the number of people who died that day.
