I think he might spend but only if he’s convinced of a few things - They’ll make a genuine difference to our promotion push - He’s getting a good deal on the transfer fee - They’ll have resale value in the future

I agree to an extent, I’m just thinking about the type of player we need. Maybe it will be another loan. But if it was a permanent, I can’t see us getting someone ready to straight in and perform for less than £7-10m which he might baulk at.

Doubt it. Think the wingers were a high priority given our lack of depth there, and evidenced by the players we were linked to and speed of the business. We’ll be more selective and considered with any further signings I think.
