You're pretty much on the money there. The due dilligence done by them was obviously horrendously poor/non-existant or the global collapse affected them more than they hoped for. I don't get the £60m in debt though? I'd agree with £1.3m in debt. But when they took over, we apparently owed...

No offence, but very wide of the mark. Most of our players are freebies or loans and wouldn't command fees...we're not going to lose our best players. And when clubs go into administration, the vultures don't circle like they do after relegation. I can't think of one club that's lost its better...

I really don't think we've fielded anyone illegibly. All players are registered with the FA and PFA so if they were to penalise us for 'illegible' players, they need to look at themselves in the mirror and their own procedures. We're fine from this point of view. Case closed, move on! WM

To be fair Tony, it does say 'Telegraph sources' so it's not definitve proof but I guess the point I was making that for one half of the Ricoh, you pay £4m to a charity and for the other, 10 times that amount to the council. I'm not too shabby at maths but even if I wasn't, I'd still be able...
