Isn't our debt actually only £1.3m?

That's just confused the shit out of me! WM

Maybe that's a worrying sign Coundon. My concern is that if we've tried to 'alter' things behind the FLs back as to where the share actually lies, then we'd be properly in the poo. That's proper cheating as we'd be trying to con the powers that be in trying to avoid a 10 point deduction (min)...

Isn't our debt actually only £1.3m?

I've seen a number of posts tonight about £60m in debt. I've not looked into things as much as others on here in terms of figures so I might have missed something but I've been thinking. How can we be in debt to the tune of £60m. Who do we owe money to? Obviously we've not paid rent which is...

Off course they did. Surely? The court today I would've imagined could've rejected the choice of administrator if they didn't think they were relevant to the situation?

Good question actually. Unless he has a colleague from his company? I'm not sure if 'Joint' can refer to two individuals from the same company or whether it's meant to mean two different companies. WM

    SISU's Legacy to date

You're pretty much on the money there. The due dilligence done by them was obviously horrendously poor/non-existant or the global collapse affected them more than they hoped for. I don't get the £60m in debt though? I'd agree with £1.3m in debt. But when they took over, we apparently owed...

Really guys? Why the beef with this guy? Christ sake...we've been complaining that someone needs to mediate between the two sides of the ongoing playground debate and when someone does (and keeps the fans updated), they're berated?? Jesus wept..... WM

Interesting... When I saw the thread title, I thought 'what has Michael f**king Appleton got to say on this matter?' He's had as many clubs this season as we've had full time managers! WM

No offence, but very wide of the mark. Most of our players are freebies or loans and wouldn't command fees...we're not going to lose our best players. And when clubs go into administration, the vultures don't circle like they do after relegation. I can't think of one club that's lost its better...

Have we been fielding an illegible team?

I really don't think we've fielded anyone illegibly. All players are registered with the FA and PFA so if they were to penalise us for 'illegible' players, they need to look at themselves in the mirror and their own procedures. We're fine from this point of view. Case closed, move on! WM

Half stakes for sale - £4m and £40m

To be fair Tony, it does say 'Telegraph sources' so it's not definitve proof but I guess the point I was making that for one half of the Ricoh, you pay £4m to a charity and for the other, 10 times that amount to the council. I'm not too shabby at maths but even if I wasn't, I'd still be able...

Half stakes for sale - £4m and £40m

Err...check my first post Tony. Albeit, it's in the Telegraph but it says that their share is up for grabs for £4m. WM

Half stakes for sale - £4m and £40m

So the Higgs would sell their half stake for £4m after putting in £6m and the council would sell their half for £40m after putting in £10m? And people say that CCFC/SISU are greedy robbing bar-stewards...

    Over 1000 fans at Portsmouth

When the anti-SISU songs were going on, there was an older gent behind me shouting 'but we'll be more worse off...you're biting the hand that feeds you' etc. With polls on here, there seemed to be a larger % of people who can see the clubs position compared to the rates etc we're being charged...
