    A quick sum

First of all, the adult, grown up name for them is SISU. Secondly, I've not said they should be given the Ricoh. My point is that a football club with a stadium, is an easier package to sell and a better proposition to buy, than a football club with no stadium. WM

    A quick sum

No disrespect taken. To be fair though, they've only not paid bills for two of six years. They've not pleaded poverty for that long. The one major crime that can be levelled at them over the past 6 years is awful due dilligence over the Ricoh when they took over. WM

    Jake Cassidy

No, but he's the cousin of the group that were our shirt sponsors for a few seasons. WM

SISU= HEDGE FUND = BAD doesn't really follow!

I agree on a couple of points above SBJ, but where are you getting the £70m debt figure from? WM

    A quick sum

I get what you're saying, but there's nothing to say they don't have the money to buy the Ricoh. The current ownership of the Ricoh is the reason they don't own it. I wouldn't necessarily say they don't have money to buy either though..they just choose not to at the moment. WM

    A quick sum

These quick sums have been done to death...we all know that but unfortunately, our owners need to see some return on their investment (and despite what some will say, they have invested...wages etc, bills for the large part) so they're not going to get any return on Sixfields. Ownership of the...

What reception will Clarke receive if he faces PNE?

    ***Taxi for League1Tour....that's a taxi for League1Tour***

    higgs not prepared to sell

Astute, can we not call them SISU? It's like we're in a playground or something.... WM

A sign of how far we have fallen

Firstly, Clarke might not be about to leave the club. We've turned down a bid. Liverpool did something similar with Suarez...same might happen here. Secondly, the Clarke episode has only come about in the past 48 hours. The stadium/council situation has dragged for months and months so there's...

    More From Sandra G

I didn't get the whole 'yeah, but it's only ST holders who can go...not fair'. Surely that's the same with the majority of things...ST Holders get first dibs in everything?! WM

Significant Council announcement on Ricoh coming

What does it say then? Top line stuff?

FL remove 'one in, one out' transfer restriction

Yeah, you're right. I'm gutted that we won't be seeing Messi, Ronaldo, Bale, Ribery, Puyol or Casillas in our beloved CCFC colours. Hey ho.... WM

    Coventry sign midfielder Benton

I think that's what Hod Dog was referring to an hour ago.... WM

    So we need a striker.....?

I'm sorry, but there's no way I believe Mansfield can pay more wages than us! A lower half, League Two team couldn't afford the wages of some of the players we have on our books (Murphy, Moussa, Baker etc). I get what you're saying about FFP etc, but we're allowed to bring in players on no more...

    Clarke hands in transfer request

Nahki Wells went to 'Uddersfield for £1.3m. That's a good yard stick in my opinion, WM

Light Relief: Worst ever Coventry 11 ... from the last 25 years.

I think Dele was the only reason Michael Mifsud was any good...did all the donkey work. Literally. WM

Light Relief: Worst ever Coventry 11 ... from the last 25 years.

When you mentioned that, my thoughts jumped to John Williams....early 90's if I remember rightly. I'm sure he was a part-time Postie and we signed him from Swansea. I think he was the fastest leage footballer over 100m then, according to something that was probably recorded for Match or Shoot...

    Most inspired signing ever

Oggy, Speedie, Gallacher and Ndlovu were probably my favourites when I was a nipper. I think Oggy has to get most inspired signing though as others rightly point out, he left Liverpool who were pretty much dominating Europe at that point and joined us to become a legend. Loyalty likes his...
