Tim Fisher spells the end of CCFC....

You just have to love the attitude of some of our fans - Let's look at the possibilities for Elliot re the forum and guess the responses: 1. Elliot doesn't attend - "Supposed to be the bloody saviour of the club and can't even be bothered to turn up to a forum" 2. Elliot attends but says...

One Step Forward 3 back TYPICAL!

He did offer that option, but I took the view that a "potential cancellation" would have less impact than a non-renewal. Don't get me wrong, I know that neither will have much impact (if any), but it's just trying to "do something".

One Step Forward 3 back TYPICAL!

The "to renew or not to renew" debate is a tough one with sensible arguments on both sides. I got my first season ticket in 1976 (the first year my folks allowed me to make what was then a 3 hour journey to Cov). There were a few years inbetween when I didn't have one (playing football each...

Spoke to Norwood & Keogh yesterday.....

Shame if true - but no real surprise.

    Tommy atkins,torch etc..

Tommy, perhaps you should ask Tim Fisher. In his interview on Saturday he was asked what the wage budget would be for next year, given the massive loss of revenue due to relegation. He replied that he was planning for it to be "similar to last year". This would involve a much greater...

I'm looking forwards to Shrewsbury - it's only 20 minutes up the road for me :D

    Another bitter Sunderland fan

I was at both games and saw both tackles. If you honestly think that they were even slightly similar, then I can only conclude that you know nothing about football.

If we're really into grudges - and I mean proper ones now - what about the disgusting tackle Nicky Sumberbee did on Steve Froggat, that ended Froggie's career. Now if you want something to be ashamed about...............

Said the man who "moved on years ago". You should have seen the reception the great man got when his statue was unveiled.

Only problem with your comment is that it wasn't the club that decided to delay the kick off. The decision was made by the Police, because of the number of fans still outside the ground. I presume that the rationale was to avoid some sort of crush caused by people panicing to get in.

    Flexiones en barra

I guess you mean harder to get out of by being promoted. If SISU run us in the same way as this year, we may find it easy to get out of the Division - what's Division 4 like?

    Question for Tommy Atkins

The comment about the wage budget was about the only thing that had any substance to it.

    Commiserations.

A few weeks back, I thought that Bristol were going down, but credit to them for a strong finish to the season.

    Question for Tommy Atkins

Hi Tommy. Further to our chats over recent days, I wondered if you heard the Tim Fisher interview. He was asked what the wage budget would be for next year given the massive loss in revenue. He replied that it would be similar to this year. That would mean that SISU would have to find...

Stand Up If You Hate Sisu

Might have been something to do with losing King. Takes a little while to adjust to losing your key player. Doesn't really help when just when you're getting things on to a more even keel, you go and sell your (new) leading scorer. Talk about deja vu.

Stand Up If You Hate Sisu

As it appears that you're in the know, could you let us know how much SISU have invested in keeping the club afloat in, say, the last 6 months?

    Thoughts on SISU

Now I understand the problem. You are controlling a COST budget and it would appear, applying your experience to the situation at CCFC. In your situation, if you have a cost overrun, the only way to resolve the position is to cut costs. As I seem to recall you saying in an earlier post - you...
