The money in the premier league

To be honest, I was tempted by a tenner for this weekends game. Would I pay £20-£25? If I lived locally maybe but once I factor in petrol from down South, it's too much. I've therefore sacked off wedding planning this Saturday and picking up the mother who now wants to attend and we're taking...

What's your Match Day Costs ?

ChiefDave...are you going on Saturday? I'm driving up from the Portsmouth area and so long as you're not an axe murderer, happy to offer a lift (to split petrol costs)?

Wasps in talks to takeover Ricoh

Not sure Godiva...is there a right answer to this?! If they were invited...well that makes me a little angrier!

    Message from TM

I know it won't be a sell out but just checking that our shell of a club don't make it as hard to get into the ground as hard as it is to buy a top etc etc.

I assume you can pay on the gate on Saturday? Gonna make my way up from the South Coast I reckon.

Wasps in talks to takeover Ricoh

It was widely reported that she did say it. But on to your unity piece, I think I might venture up from the South Coast on Saturday in recognition of TMs work (even if I was dubious...hands up). Was supposed to be driving the missus to a birds night out. She's making her own way now.

The club will be here a lot longer than SISU.....

Don't disagree with much of that. It must've helped Wasps though to pick up a stadium when a certain councillor was quoted as saying something along the lines of 'Hell freezing over before selling to CCFC'. Must have been slightly milder when a franchised rugby club came knocking.

Where will we finish next season?

Bradford I reckon. 1 in 23 chance, but I'm going for Bradford.

Lack of Due Diligence is something that can rightly be levelled at SISU. The council certainly did outsmart SISU on this...they must have thought all their Xmas's had come at once with a new party happy to pay the rental deal as it was then. It saddens me that some seem to take glee in the...

    State Aid...

Ok, so to summarise, the council didn't believe it to be state aid so assumed no sign off was necessary, either by the EC or the member states authority (which in this case I assume was the UK Govt/Dept CM+S)? The courts agreed with the council so all hunky-dory, right?! In our case anyway...

    State Aid...

http://www.theguardian.com/football/2015/apr/20/west-ham-compensation-risk-state-aid-olympic-stadium Saw this article, although didn't read it in detail. If proven, could this open up the door for some compo for CCFC? Is the situation similar? Did CCC gain sign off from the EC? Did/Do they...
