what makes you think there wouldn't have been a similar uproar if there had been a huge increase in the price of season tickets in that part of the ground. Lets be honest, we've got a very vocal section of our fanbase who just love to moan and find fault with everything
look at all the moaning...
Club wouldn't need to do anything if our own supporters hadn't tried to game the system for their own advantage. As usual we create a problem then moan when something is done to try and fix it. Plenty of posts in here last season about how many people were in the family zone with no kids in tow...
Went on sale 3rd May last year and passed 10K on 8th June, went on sale 13th May this year and passed 10K on 22nd May. Not sure how anyone could translate that into sales are poor.
Not sure there's a whole lot different to what most sane people would have expected. A lot of the drama seems to have kicked off on the basis of 'my mate was told in the ticket office' type stuff.
when during a game are people finding time to wander round the concourse, or maybe the question should be why would you want to? I'm lucky if I can get a cuppa / pint from the nearest kiosk and be back in my seat for the start of the second half!
Looks like they've taken everything on board and tried to make it part of the terms and conditions. Not sure there can really be too many complaints with what they've come up with.
We all know there's people taking the piss and they're the people they want to stop. As with kids ticket prices...
The unknown here is how the SAG will act. Now they've allowed a standing area will they be putting pressure on the club to enforce the regulations in other parts of the ground, that could even have been part of the agreement. Give the OK to safe standing on the understanding there will be little...
I could never understand why so many people didn't see an issue with repaying the bond. You had a rugby club losing millions and a arena losing millions and the majority of people seriously thought it wouldn't be a problem
wouldn't you rather stay in the stands and have the players stay out there and celebrate than have the players sprinting off the pitch as fast as possible?
Why? The terms are you can't go in on an adult ticket without a child, if it's an adult and 3 kids and 1 kid can't go then you're still within the terms.
Of course the problem they've created for themselves is that this would likely lead to a stack of single tickets that can't be sold so I...
Suspect they probably won’t sell you it on that basis as it’s a breach of the season ticket terms and conditions but in reality unless it flags up as a child ticket it’s totally unenforceable and they’ve never made the slightest attempt to enforce.
In fact I believe they told Pete pretty much...
That should have been the case from the start. I don't really see any reason someone should get a cheaper ticket because they're taking a kid with them.
Wouldn't be surprised if that was considered but they decided people would kick off at a big price increase after the response last year...
where have you seen that, I haven't seen the full conditions published? Would say more likely you can't place a single ticket on the exchange, it would be unsaleable, and you can't leave a childless adult, or something along similar lines
