£2k would be average. If you've got a midweek evening game, a team might coach/train to a hotel for lunchtime, then have rooms on a day-let basis with a pre-match meal, in which case it'll be cheaper (as day lets are cheaper than overnights.

I look after 88 of the 92 clubs and a colleague looks after the other 4 (as he has contacts at those). About 85% of clubs book through 3rd party agents whom I also manage but of those I look after direct, 4 of them are top PL clubs. Keeps me out of trouble!

Oh right, I get ya. You'd be surprised but some chain hotels can go that low at weekends. I think the lowest I've seen is probably £80 BB (£90 if it's a twin) plus meal requirements on top. Off course in London, you'd double that or even triple it in some of our properties.

Teams don't stay at B&Bs NW....they normally stayed in branded hotels, boutique hotels or good quality independent hotels. Places like Blackpool though, there can be an issue around some groups. You also have weddings in hotels every weekend and then probably more of an issue, you have Xmas...
