Oh yes, a day out at Wembley will stir them up, but after the final whistle? And I'm talking about the people of Coventry, not the football fan or the casual football fan, but the other 300K.
I am going to defend the CT for once. There's a very interesting article on the website. "Five things we've learnt from the MK Dons defeat..." I like the new angle. Way to go, CT.
Most Coventrians either don't know or care about the whys and wherefores of the CCFC saga. The city folk aren't supportive of their football club so why should they vote this shower out? If they do it certainly won't be anything to do with CCFC. Bin collections is more likely.
If I was Robins I would have three bags with defenders, midfielders and strikers written on them. Put all the players name on a bit on paper and put them in the appropriate bag. Choose a team at random and include U23 and some of the u18 squad. The only name that shouldn't be picked at random...
Certainly a lot more than our current squad. Maybe someone should ask Tim tonight to look in any old out of the way cupboards at Ryton, might be some kit stashed in there. Would certainly boost our income.
Best kit we ever had. Also, when I passed my test in 85 I bought a Citroen and had them for years. There used to be a bloke near Harbury on a farm who used to buy and sell them. Lovely cars back then.
Not just at Wembley. This season is shot. MR should start to look to next season and only play those who he wants to remain in 17/18. I would play those players and give kids in the U23 and U18 squads a chance. We really have nothing to lose.
"Tonight there's gonna be a jailbreak somewhere in this town..."
My advice to the police would be check the local prison first. I love Thin Lizzy but that is a silly lyric, Phil.
