16 of those goals were not scored in the championship. He averages 8 or 9 goals per season in the championship, including some pens. With very few assists. At the minute I’d certainly play him ahead of Wright. He’s certainly earned that. But he has plenty of flaws in terms of being a good team...

The problem with Godden is he contributes little to team play. 10 assist in 120 games, often anonymous and isolated. That costs the team. Although it’s hard to quantify.

At the minute we seem weaker everywhere on the pitch compared to last season. So, early days, but I wouldn't call any of the new signings 'Excellent'. Even 'Good' is probably slightly pushing it too far.

'What they excel at' is a good question. It isn't in the air because we have quite a lot of corners and I forget they exist because they pose zero threat. Goalhanging and sniffing out goals? Nah that's Godden, they dont really seem hungry to get in the box at all. It seems to be about strength...
