    Summer Plans

I phoned up to cancel mine as it was going to £104 a month (we have sports, movies, HD, the lot). After a couple of conversations on the phone, I've managed to get it back down to £69 a month for 12 months at which point, we'll be hoping to move anyway.

So , what are our owners going to do now ...............

Can you deny that the Council are/were not involved in our downfall ("hell will freeze over...")? Can you deny that the club was financially in a worse state before SISU took over (circa £65m in debt and not self-sufficient)? There's no f&*king SISU apologists you muppet...just those who can...

C.Thomas going alone frees up some good wages. Wasn't he on something ridiculous like £8k a week? Glad to see him go...not achieved potential but has been unlucky with injuries. Good luck to him elsewhere though. Could say the same about Fleck...really want him to stay but would imagine he's...

Ticket prices - a huge gamble by the financially prudent SISU

Kid vs Nick is like this months Dongo vs Grendel.

Ticket prices - a huge gamble by the financially prudent SISU

I was going to say, have a look at OSBs post on the other thread but Nick has copied it below. It looks as though SISU did what many on here wanted them to do...put extra money in towards a promotion chase. Regardless of the fact that it didn't work, shouldn't they be congratulated for doing so?

Ticket prices - a huge gamble by the financially prudent SISU

But on another thread OSB, you've confirmed that they've put in an extra £750k this season. Yes, they should be castigated for previous wrongs (along with Richardson, Council et al) but if they've put an extra £750k in to assist with a promotion push, shouldn't they actually be congratulated on...

So , what are our owners going to do now ...............

Very interesting OSB. If correct, that'll shut a few up. A couple of questions though (I don't expect you to answer the 2nd one if you don't wish to): * Is there anything else that the additional £750k might have been spent on? No one off costs or increased annual costs that might have...

Anyone know what the number of players we were left with last season after the same day? i.e. What did we start with in terms of rebuilding?

Similar fan bases? Norwich have about 26k season ticket holders! Southampton were taken over by a billionaire who was rumoured to be after a large contract on the Solent, Leicester escaped sanctions or financial penalty for going into administration, Bournemouth were bought by a wealthy Russian...

Re: Merchandise, it was Bob at the start of the season who instead of buying official merchandise and putting money into the clubs coffers, bought an imitation blue and white stripped Nike top and put some CCFC patches on it. Then Bob asks what our owners are going to do as if to stay, why...

Fleck telling it like it is

One of the main remits of a manager is to motivate the players when the tough gets going, is it not? He by and large had the same group of players...why did they seem to lose interest? TM is paid to keep them interested in winning the league...it's what they and he are paid to do.

eBay? Academies are the life blood of every L1/L2 club. Unless you have a rich and stupid owner, that's how many clubs survive nowadays.

Fleck telling it like it is

Isn't it the managers job to get the best out of his players? They performed for the first 3 months of the season and the last few games. Why turn off mid-season when we had the chance to turn the screw on our opponents? Who didn't motivate the players? Who didn't have a plan B? Who has form at...
