These players who are being released won't be on 6 figure weekly sums though pipkin. You're right, some will be released to injuries and age. But others will be released due to not being part of their teams plans. Such as those youngsters from the youth teams. Whilst they might not be suitable...

Agree with Otis. The squad is undoubtedly a lot lower on numbers but the majority of the list above of whom we no longer have, is actually a list of players who I'd rather were no longer here (not all by the way).

Pay as you play would be ideal. That way, we don't pay him for the 95% of games he'll miss. He'll be immense in the other 5% though so happy to pay him for those.

Wasn't our budget something like £3m last season? Our average attendance was 12,750. Say that the average ticket price was £16 (taking into account away support and the fact that the majority of the rest would be ST holders) then over 23 games, that would be £4.63m. All rough maths but...

If they're not putting money into the club, then where does the money for wages/signings come from? My gut feeling is it is.
