    USSR invades Ukraine.

Lets hope there's some truth in this.

    USSR invades Ukraine.

IIHF (ice hockey) meeting this afternoon and under a lot of pressure from their members to kick Russia out. Putin is known to be an ice hockey far and its a popular sport over there so needs to be done.

    USSR invades Ukraine.

I can think of an army that ought to be thinking about overthrowing their government and it isn’t in Ukraine.

    USSR invades Ukraine.

That does strike me as the most likely route to ending this but its hard to gauge what the Russian population in general think of what is happening let alone his inner circle.

    USSR invades Ukraine.

There's so much chatter on social media its difficult to work out who is genuinely knowledgeable and who has just moved on from covid and vaccines to this being their latest area of expertise. I'm in an ice hockey Discord which has a lot of Americans in it and they chat about Ukraine as if...

    USSR invades Ukraine.

Its really hard to know what to expect with Putin. Logically you'd say this has gone pretty badly and you'd be looking for a way to exit without looking like a complete failure. Which then leads to a) is that even possible and b) its Putin so there's a good chance a logical course of action...

    USSR invades Ukraine.

Doesn't the send the expendable in to test the resistance approach just give you a bigger problem. In the time they've been doing that other countries have been bolstering Ukraines defences? For example there's now EU fighter jets in the area supporting Ukraine which will make it a lot harder...

    USSR invades Ukraine.

Obviously in the world of social media it can be hard to separate fact from fiction but seeing immigration lawyers tweeting about people being refused entry because they haven't got the right visa or filled in the right form when fleeing war is, even by this governments low standard, poor...

    Drinking in the stands

I'm in 20 so its more civilised than the naughty corner, more chance of being offered a boiled sweet than a line! The drinking isn't really the issue, and where I am its only occasional. Its more that its not supposed to be happening yet people can openly walk back to their seats with pints in...

Imagine telling your mates you’re just off to the pub for a pre match pint and to compare the size of your dildo.

    Drinking in the stands

There was people going on the pitch at a Bears T20 game as they'd been a genius plan to promote the Hollies to students with a load of free tickets being given to a party organising company. Led to loads of already pissed students turning up as part of an organised night who had no interest in...

    Drinking in the stands

They do, or at least did, this at Edgbaston. They have the Hollies which their website says is for over 18s who want to party (ie: get pissed and act like twats) and on the other side of the ground there are 'dry' stands. Pre-pandemic there was talk of extending the number of dry blocks as it...

    Drinking in the stands

For every person that is fed up and decides to move to more expensive seats how many are fed up and just decide not to attend anymore?

    Drinking in the stands

Obviously a different type of venue / event but when I was running music venues drug taking was very much the responsibility of the venue staff & doormen. In fact if the police did have to deal with it you'd be up before the licensing committee having to explain why there was drug use in your...

    Drinking in the stands

This might be one for the upcoming supporters meeting as if the stewards have been told its not their job to do anything about fans drinking, smoking or openly doing drugs then presumably its down to the police so we need some feedback from them as to why its being ignored. Someone isn't doing...

    Drinking in the stands

It would be baffling if it was good beer at a decent price. The fact they can't go 45 minutes without some watered down rubbish at whatever stupid price they charge now is a whole different level.

    What happened in the dugout?

Intersting, so why doesn't that get applied properly? Seems a different threshold is being applied to 1st and 2nd yellows. Someone needs to tell that idiot that BT have on who agrees with whatever decision the refs make as that's where I picked that gem up from.

    What happened in the dugout?

Its like we all know players get a yellow for cumulative fouls but that isn't in the rules. Why not just apply the same logic. If you reach the threshold just book the next player who makes a foul.
