    Wasps downward spiral...

From a bondholder perspective surely the news is either you're getting your money or you're not. Would you really care where they were having to borrow it from or how many sources there are?

    Wasps downward spiral...

I would suggest if there's a new development in this saga and its positive news there would be no need to speak to bondholders. For example if the news tomorrow is they're getting paid its not really worth getting anyone on, if the news is there's a major problem then you'll get some mileage out...

    Wasps downward spiral...

Wishful thinking but if AEG took over the CBS it would not be out of the question that they also ended up taking over CCFC. They have a history of doing that and they have a history of their teams winning things. Would also mean a huge increase in the number of big name music acts at the CBS as...

AEG and NEC Group would be the first two calls I'd be making if I was looking to sell.

    Wasps downward spiral...

there were cracks that were thought to be cosmetic but turned out not to be. structural engineers were called in to asses the damage and all I got from my ACL contact before they left was that it was 'worse than feared'. I thought this was a known thing that was reported on at the time, albeit...

    Wasps downward spiral...

I guess the unknown here is just how serious, and therefore how expensive, the work the stadium requires is. We all know its more than a bit of cosmetic work and that structural engineers have been in to asses the extent of the problems but are we in potential St Andrews territory or something...

    Wasps downward spiral...

I think people forget how many people have some affiliation with CCFC as you phrase it. Easy to do when we were in freefall but look at the reaction to more positive events at the club, it doesn't just impact the 20K that turn up week in week out, the mood changes throughout the entire city.

    Wasps downward spiral...

The idea that it is impossible to build a new stadium in London or find someone to groundshare with was always clearly nonsense. How did Brentford and Wimbledon end up with new stadiums? If the argument was that the Ricoh was a cheaper option than that would be valid but brings you back to the...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

What a complete shambles, on Friday 130 people were told they'd be on board the first flight, its already down to 11 and is expected to drop further. At this rate there will be more coming back the other way than we're sending out there! https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-61779845

    Wasps downward spiral...

Not sure that's the case. My work does, or at least did pre-pandemic, take me to many workplaces around the city and its rare to find a positive word about Wasps being in the city. In fact I've only met two people who regularly go to games. One was an old Welsh chap who loved rugby and would...

Best TV shows or movies you can recommend

the last episode is really fucking grim, can't say what without spoiling it but pay attention to the warnings at the beginning if you're the type of person to get affected by stuff.

    Championship 22-23

How much work does St Andrews need? if someone with the cash appears is it a quick fix or are they looking at stands staying closed for months while the work is done.

    Wasps downward spiral...

There's a big difference between a school kid getting a ticket once a season to tickets being handed out like confetti to anyone that wants them. The income argument only works to an extent. When there are so many free tickets you completely devalue the product. The people that do pay start to...

    Wasps downward spiral...

Very true. They came here on a promise of becoming the richest and most successful club in Europe, surely at this point even the biggest Wasps cheerleader has to be asking questions. They've failed to deliver on all their promises. The finances are a mess, the team performs poorly and despite a...
