    Taking the Knee

That's exactly what they're doing. The comments on the Facebook post saying they won't be doing it every game are disappointing to say the least.

From memory we handed over more money and employed additional staff on the promise the pitch would be improved but as our groundsman has been tweeting if they've totally destroyed the pitch there's not much he can do in a few days. Doesn't really matter what it looks like or 'we played on...

I'm shocked, are you saying Wasps made something up and the Telegraph reported it without question

Presumably a drop in pitch only takes a minimal amount of time but that of course requires a pitch being ready to go. I'm imagining that's not an 'off the shelf' item.

This is the worry, is this something that can be sorted before the cup game or even the Wigan game. If there's a fundamental problem and its a danger to players how long are we talking to get this resolved.

Match Thread ⚽️ Coventry City vs Rotherham United Match Thread - Sunday 7th Aug

Don't blame him. How many times have we had public statements from Wasps that pitch problems will be a thing of the past and now we might not even be able to play the first game of the season. You'd laugh at this if it happened to Leamington or some other non-league team, disgrace it can happen...

    Wasps downward spiral...

Bit odd as they had a grant to ensure it was a state of the art commonwealth venue, unless that was made up rubbish https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/commonwealth-games/62438302

You'd hope that the EFL would be sympathetic given it is something totally out of our control. If our landlords can't provide a playable pitch its not really something we can be blamed for

maybe now the people who keep insisting there is no issue will shut up and admit there is actually a problem must be hugely frustrating for our ground staff to say the least

Best TV shows or movies you can recommend

There's a lot of versions and some of them are expensive. Look for the 30th Anniversary paperbacks, they're good quality and pretty cheap.

Best TV shows or movies you can recommend

Love the original comics / graphic novels. The trailer looked great and the reviews are outstanding. Its always been referred to as unfilmable but this looks like its had serious money thrown at it and has the original writer, Gaiman, as producer and his track record is pretty good with TV and...

    Wasps downward spiral...

Another article following on from The Times piece, this one just about Wasps being in a mess and defaulting. Maybe the media is starting to pick up on this. https://www.thisismoney.co.uk/money/investing/article-11077735/Wasps-rugby-union-club-defaults-repaying-bond-investors.html

    Pitch

That reads as if they're laying a new pitch after the Commonwealth Games but surely there isn't time. Even if its a drop in won't it need more than a few days to settle in? Its frustrating that we're now paying for pitch maintenance and employing staff but Wasps are ripping it to shreds and...

    SISU ready to sell?

Isn't this the chap that has regularly had to be corrected by our supporters over the basic financial facts about the club and always takes it badly when he's shown to be wrong?

    Wasps downward spiral...

What odds that one of them confuses the CBS half year results released this morning with he CBS Arena and starts banging on about how everything is fantastic. Either that or they'll try and claim its somehow linked to sponsoring the stadium :ROFLMAO:

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Do you really think that all the Conservative voters who on current polls are saying they wouldn't vote as they don't like Johnson are going to stay away come polling day when a new leader is in place. If you drill down on the polling the Labour vote isn't significantly increasing, that's a huge...

    SISU ready to sell?

Had a look on that Wasps site to see if there was any reaction to this. They really have no grasp of the basic facts do they. They're all patting themselves on the back for brilliant posts and how much better they are than here while stating absolute rubbish as fact. Fair enough we've got more...

Good, lets hope other clubs do the same. Half of them probably end up on eBay anyway.

    SISU ready to sell?

If there is any truth in this someone like AEG would be ideal. Their portfolio lacks a midlands venue and they can easily place a huge number of music events in the hall. They also have a track record of buying teams and making a success of it But we're never that lucky.

    SISU ready to sell?

Is that just wishful thinking? Wasps in an 18K stadium in Birmingham makes a lot more sense than a 32K stadium in Coventry but in practice how would it work. Is the thinking that someone comes up with the money for the bond payment and they get the stadium in return. I guess its not impossible...
