Take out anything to do with CCFC, Wasps or the stadium and there's still numerous things that have gone on at the council while he has been chief exec that should have seen him lose his job.

the league was expanded from 8 to 10 teams. if I recall correctly Wasps were late to the party but still got a place alongside the expected two new franchises which meant one of the existing teams lost their place...

Not sure why we're going over all this again but there were 6 bidders weren't there and I seem to recall not all 6 were ever named but we know of Manhattan, Shapiro, Hopkins and SISU. SISU being the only ones who didn't want stadium ownership and therefore the councils preferred bidder.

The problem is the wrong people are earning the money and it's those same people, the ones at the top on big salaries, who are charged with implementing any cuts. They aren't going to turn round and say their own job isn't needed so you end up with cuts to the frontline workers.
