    Grand national thread

Saphir Du Rheu for me as well. Backed him in the Gold Cup to no avail, but the last time I did that and didn't back the same horse in the National, Many Clouds romped it and I missed out on a decent payday.

    Budget constraints

See that I never understood. To move breakeven turnout from 11k to 14k would need some serious miscalculation. A swing of 25%? Virtually impossible to do as a mistake. Coincidentally when we were significantly exceeding their quoted BE value.

    Budget constraints

I think the point is that the budget should take into account the fact that income will be down for May/June/July. Besides, the season ticket sales will give some revenue. The operating loss you've pointed out is exactly the issue - the trading income of ticket sales and TV rights are dwarfed by...

    Wembley Seats

Block 231, 5 tickets purchased. Love how it will show up on my bank statement as "Otium Entertainment Group".

    Wembley Seats

Think it's been mis-phrased. You can choose which block you want to sit in but not a specific seat. They will allocate on a 'best available' basis within that block.

Who are you going to Wembley with...

I'm gutted for my dad to be honest, missed the cup final in 87 and is going to miss this due to being on holiday (though he did go to the charity shield). Considering we'd both spoken of packing up our season tickets after this year it would have been a nice way to end.

Driving down to London on the day.....

Whenever I've driven I've parked in Neasden. Street is called Vincent Gardens. It's about 5 mins to Wembley Park from Neasden station, and it's right on the boundary of the parking restrictions. Also a decent pub on the high street for food.

    Wembley Tickets...

I think it should (and will) be 2 per ST holder. Don't see why people who know ST holders should get priority, I'm bound to have loads of friends ask me and most of them won't even be Cov fans.

Who are you going to Wembley with...

Me and my mate, who conveniently lives just off Wembley Way. Strictly speaking he's not a Cov fan, but has probably been to about 15 matches in the last 2 years.

Why do fans think CCFC should not be profitable?

Because no investment = worse on-pitch performance = no hope or reason to continue going. The club is being strangled due to a lack of product on the pitch. As much as I'd like to think we could find a model whereby we can put a competitive team together on a shoestring, all studies show that...

    Another protest?

People know who blew that whistle. If I was anywhere near it I'd have given the c**t a slap. But absolutely nothing because it's hilarious. Our fans are a fucking waste of time.

Wales now in trouble because of poppies?

Be hilarious when Wales get a points deduction after how many counts of racism have been punished with a tenner fine.
