That’s a really impressive win. Sakamoto and Wright absolutely top class. Full backs excellent second half. Collins solid as was Thomas. All in all an excellent festive period.

Must admit I thought he was a bit tricky but ineffectual after the first few games but that was just wrong. Now adding lots of end product - a real find, and one that looks like he’s good for the squad morale into the bargain.

Well the referee saw it and gave a straight red. It’s then been reviewed and upheld so I’d say it’s fairly certain he did do or say something.

Dasilva is basically not good enough defensively and never will be. That’s his game. He’s tidy enough on the ball and can make and receive a pass. He’s a useful squad player at this level. But when he plays in a flat back 4 there will be an opportunity for any opposition down his flank.

For me it’s not about the goals. He just hasn’t found any rhythm - hasn’t shown much evidence of being a natural player. It’s entirely possible it’s a confidence thing and we’re just waiting for the click - we’ll see.

Reflecting on it next day it was a dominant display. Their equaliser just one of those things. Thought we missed Kitching but overall it’s clear we are a top 8 champ team at least with potential to push beyond. New signings settling - Wright, MVE, Sakamoto and Kitching now look absolute...
