At points last season we had Sheaf, Allen, Ohare(Rudoni), injured with Lats covering right back. I’d have taken at least X or Y then.

Couldn’t care less where he goes

Why are we obsessed with measuring possible newcomers with current players. We need a squad. It has to have depth. Yes, player A may be better than B but we need A and B to get through a season.

83 pages when I don’t understand why we really care where it is.

    Viveash gone

Ha! My point was light hearted. It’s all about opinion on here. We should all spout forth as we see fit.

    Summer transfer window 2024

    Isn’t he still exploring Antarctica.

    Viveash gone

Easy! We’ve gone from a rumour to him being a bully.

    Viveash gone

It’s quite widely known that Viveash is “old school”. So this may well be correct. Having said that, if a player is offered a sack full of cash I can’t imagine many turning it down because Viveash may shout at them.

    Have We A Plan B ?

I think he’ll still go. He, his agent, and Lisbon will want to cash in while he’s at the peak value

    Viveash gone

But why should we care if there is an issue? It happens.

    Keep them coming Saddle.

    Viveash gone

Let’s be honest Viveash is laughing all the way to the bank. Doug will have had to pay him his contract so he’s probably just had roughly 3 years wages up front.

    Viveash gone

He could have just borrowed a tracksuit from the Olympic team

Completely agree. I was just saying I don’t really care if it’s amicable or not as long as Robins is ok with it.

    Viveash gone

    Not sure what you mean?
  17. C

    Viveash gone

Does anyone care if it’s amicable? I certainly don’t. Robins is obviously on board with it. That’s about it.

Thomas reminds me a lot of Paul Williams. He became a fans favourite for his last ditch tackles and “putting his body on the line”. The problem was he only had to do that so often because he was terribly out of position. I see glimpses of it with Thomas.

    Viveash gone

Trying to read between the lines this feels very much just like a freshening up exercise. Viveash was obviously an old school coach and he was the one interacting with the players daily. Robins probably just wanted a new voice in there, an impetus of ideas etc.

    That’s what it’s all about!
