    Villa after 'Cov Kid'

Why do we care where he plays? He seems like a very nice young man and I wish him a successful career no matter where he plays. If Villa offers him the best opportunity then sobeit. I support CCFC; I don't dis-support any other clubs

    Things You Hate About Summer

What's not to like? When I was a lad you had to pay to see the fat tattooed lady - now you can see them all for free.

The list is endless: RFC... err - OK not endless.

Not sure I understand this post :) 1. The deficit is the annual difference between income and expense. I assume you mean national borrowing, not the deficit? 2. Don't understand the point about the state stepping in at all, or indeed how you know this if it was kept secret.

I'm not suggesting a nationalised monopoly - a nationalised competitor. I'm also aware that there is no party with a policy such as I am suggesting. Legislation is inefficient because it cannot be comprehensive and weasels find ways to abuse it. What we need is a firm with values for great...

I don't trust a private company not to cut essentials to increase profit. Central legislation is inefficient and would be abused.

Well, if a private company can be run efficiently why can't a nationalised one? The only difference is motivation. I'd come up with some kind of system whereby nationalised industries such as power, water, trains are incentivised to produce a profit for the state. They some run as independent...

This isn't necessarily so. I'd like to see the state invest in running nationalised concerns efficiently and for a profit. IMO it is a scandal that they are permitted to be managed so poorly.

Well, I don't think much of the Mail either but I guess if they both have it it must be true. Shocking behaviour.

I'm not going to discuss how hard MPs work, I have no idea. I do have strong views on managing the economy. Fantastic maths not needed, just addition and subtraction. Which of the following points do you disagree with: 1. The country must over the medium term spend only what it collects. If...

So... This new stadium is taking a while...

I agree with the poster who says that it's not a priority. Remember that the only priority for SISU is to make a profit. They've been exceptionally poor at achieving that and seemingly this is their last roll of the dice before they have to take the club itself seriously rather than a property...

Conor Thomas has come back hungry

http://www.coventrytelegraph.net/sport/football/football-news/conor-thomas-impresses-coventry-city-9681410 Is he going to fulfill his potential this year? Despite others' skepticism, I think he has all the makings of a fine player. Being dropped and the new manager may be exactly what he...

Well anyone at all 'could' be coming. I suspect this is just a misunderstanding of the nature of the advertised understanding with Spurs.
