I doubt we are paying very much for Turner or Bigi - it's as much in their clubs' interest as ours to get them playing. And the other loans are youth players and so not expensive either. I don't see why it wouldn't fit into the budget.

Just read both. I know that Chelsea have a lot of youth players and loan them out. It's the fact that they are deliberately lending them for larger loan fees than they pay them and that they aren't interested in their development that I find shocking. Where did you get that from?

It's the inevitable dichotomy. If we obtain a player and he's successful he'll be enticed elsewhere; if he's not then he's little use to us. I guess the ideal position for us is finding players that are only just good enough to fit in a successful side at this level: if Mowbray finds a player...
