Perhaps David Beckham did beat his full back and cross, but I remember a lot of diagonal balls from half way into the defenders half

    CCFC Accounts, £1.9M Loss

OSB Thanks for the explanation. I think I understand.

    CCFC Accounts, £1.9M Loss

Sorry but can you explain please? Have I misunderstood?

    CCFC Accounts, £1.9M Loss

Ownership of CCFC has cost SISU, on behalf of its investors, £61M. As soon as the club is sold for the peanuts that it is actually worth, most of that £61M becomes a loss to the investors. I have some shares that have halved in value. The value might go back up again so I haven't lost...

Centre backs are more likely to deal with a cross in the air rather than one which is bouncing through. A diagonal cross behind the CBs would favour Armstrong over the CBs and that is the sort of cross Rose put in on his debut

From what little I've seen of Rose I think he can cross a ball

    Ricoh Railway Station

A two carriage train stopped at the station yesterday about 10 min before kick off. I hace only seen single carriage trains previously.

I think in general we are too ponderous moving forward. I would like to see Rose given more time as he seems willing and able to knock early diagonal crosses in. Perhaps that's why he's not playing!

    Murphy

Murphy definitely piked up an injury early and we couldn't understand why he wasn't taken off.

    I knew we'd lose when

I thought that first15 min or so domination flattered us because even then Fleetwood got closer to creating scoring chances than we did. I thought they might steal a result but in the end they deserved it.

    Browns Lane?

I think the 60: acres was to include academy and training pitches, but it's all hypothetical anyway. To go back to earlier points, you don't have to own the stadium as such, just the business that runs it. So in our case you don't need to own the Ricoh, you need to own ACL. Ie the Wasps scenario

    The Automatics

If I remember correctly the play-offs started something like that with potential relegation and promotion teams playing each other.

    Fa cup

Having lived in the USA I noted that the teams there cared very little about winning their divisions, all that mattered was getting into the play-offs. I see the similarity here now, the European Competitions being the European play-offs

    Fa cup

I'm old enough to remember when the FA Cup Final was the only game ever on TV. I can see why those teams in the European competitions are distracted by the FA Cup, although I don't agree with their attitude, but I have never understood why the mid-table teams take that attitude when it's only...

Automatic or a day at Wembley

Agree with C4L. Much as I would love a day out at Wembley, and as I will be 73 by then it might be my last chance with CCFC, I would go for automatics.

Would you use the Ricoh Station?

No benefit for me. Would have to drive just as far as Ricoh to catch it. Living in a Warwickshire village, public transport to and from Ricoh is not doable

More News On Ricoh Train Station

I thought one of the problems was lack of rolling stock. Obviously it is available at a price.
