    Gyokeres

Everton seem to be getting spurned by multiple transfer targets. It's certainly a very big club, but it's toxic at the moment.

Jamie Allen is Guilty of War Crimes

Yeah, there's fair criticism for individual performances or specific weaknesses, but we do also get ridiculous serial attacks on some players (as per your OP), and I'd be amazed if they were oblivious to it.

Jamie Allen is Guilty of War Crimes

The effect of groaning from the stands has been discussed, but I reckon social media knockers (!) with a constant drip feed of negative critiques have at least as much potential impact on a player’s confidence. It’s naïve to think that opinions expressed on places like this don’t filter through...

It's difficult to answer because we don't know whether you'll get your wish for Gyokeres to be sold.

    Doug King Takeover

Maybe it’s as simple as that, but how often does an individual person just buy a football club? I’m no expert, but I doubt whether much of the Sisu money came personally from Joy, and I doubt whether much of the money now belongs personally to Doug. We never get told who the actual investors are...

I'd google for that sensitive gel for ladies, but I'm too scared of the ads that Nick might start serving up to me.

Great pic at Highfield road - was it you ?

It looks like the average manual wage in 1968 was £22/week, but the average top-flight player got £59/week (equates to about £1140 today). I imagine going to Arsenal Bobby Gould got more than that, and would have been delighted with maybe four times the wages of the man in the street. Now a...

Great pic at Highfield road - was it you ?

No, as explained above ticket which cost 4/6d in 1967 was 22.5p in the new currency, and that's less than £4.50 today after taking inflation into account. The £90,000 for Bobby Gould (1968) equates to about £1.75m now.

Great pic at Highfield road - was it you ?

4/6d is 22.5p So you, PVA and Deleted member 9744 would all get in together for 67p

Great pic at Highfield road - was it you ?

Although I've given you a like, your amount seemed too high, and having looked it up I think 4/6d in 1967 would be £4.47 now? And for that you got Bill Glazier, Gibbo, Dave Clements and Bobby Gould... Edit: and a win nearly every time!

Have the bed wetters disappeared again?

Yes we are now, because of the win, hence its importance. 4 points from playoffs and 12 from relegation zone, as opposed to 7 points from playoffs and 6 from relegation zone (having played a game more than those teams) if we'd lost.

    Ratings v Huddersfield

Wilson 7 – not much to do, but did it right McNally 8 – made a big difference in the air and looks ideal. Hope we can sign him up. Doyle 7 – can only remember one error Panzo 5 – his worst game for us I think, but did well to stay on the pitch after such an early yellow Norton-Cuffy 6 –...

Great pic at Highfield road - was it you ?

Yep so a new penny is 2.4 old pennies, and 2.5 new ones is 6 old ones! I was there when all this new fangled metric stuff happened, as well as being at the incredible Wolves game. Anyway, it didn't cost much to get in ...
