    Closing Day For Bids

Always great amusement to be had from the expressions of disgust at the staggeringly expensive membership fee of £1. Thank God it wasn't £1.50 - some people would have gone into total meltdown! :)

Fixtures out on June 19th !!

Remember the days when the excitement was all about who we'd be playing in our first home game of the season. Now it's if we'll be playing it and, in that happy event, where we'll be playing it. And the summers used to be warmer........

We should build a statue of her - why has no one thought of this?

CCLSC minutes 29th May - Fisher Speaks

As I said, had the post been by many people, I'd have ignored it. Whilst I frequently disagree with Godiva, he's a decent poster - which is why I questioned this post. Re the "if SISU got hold of the stadium....", personally, I prefer to try to stick to the facts. I was supportive of SISU...

CCLSC minutes 29th May - Fisher Speaks

I've no problem with factually based criticism however - Why was it "obvious" that it was "at that time" that (to use a less loaded phrase) contact was made / discussions were had etc etc. I'd expect that discussions had been kept warm since the original GH backed bid had been made. But why...

"charmed their way" - what an unusual and interesting choice of phrase.....

Good Morning. Here to chat CCFC, if anyone would care to

Historically yes, but like many of us he has seen the error of his ways (and there was probably a fairly limited number of horses to back at that time). I appreciate that you were ahead of the game here (and genuinely, no sarcasm there) but I'd have hoped that you might have shown some joy at...

    Breaking News from SISU....................

Not much point doing a stocktake, we'd never file the accounts anyway :)

So where would we be better off

Yes, that's what I thought. I was replying to Grendel's comment that "the club tried negotiating the rent 3 months after moving in and the answer was no".

So where would we be better off

I thought I'd read that there had been discussions and that a different model had ben offered (not sure whether formally or informally) whereby the rent varied dependant on which division we were in.

Good Morning. Here to chat CCFC, if anyone would care to

Does anyone have a link to a media report of TF admitting that the accounts are incorrect?

Good Morning. Here to chat CCFC, if anyone would care to

Personally, I'd prefer us to be taken over by a billionaire who named his children after the '87 team and has a statue of Jimmy Hill in his back garden. However, if it were to be a choice between SISU and someone that JE was involved with, I'd be happy to drive all the departing SISU folk to...

So CCFC Ltd is a non trading property subsidiary .......

I'm fairly sure that OSB's postulations are not conducive to the good health of SISU!

If "people" was directed at me, then I think I did. Personally I'd match OSB's analysis against TF's somewhat shaky grasp of the accounts he signed off, anyday. I was merely taking your rationale and comparing it with earlier comments you'd made.

Double standards Lord? You're happy to accept that those in a relatively small hedge fund know what they're doing, yet over recent years you've had many a poke at GH despite his senior roles in much larger financial organisations. Of course, that was before you became best mates :)

SISU may still be the best option!

To be fair though, I expect that if any SISU owned companies are landlords, they'll give their properties to their tenants after a few years (especially if they go on rent strike) :)

    The trust ?

Most people are very appreciative of the effort you and your colleagues put in. Sadly, it's a fact of life that the moaning tw@ts make a disproportionate noise.
