I've no problem with factually based criticism however - Why was it "obvious" that it was "at that time" that (to use a less loaded phrase) contact was made / discussions were had etc etc. I'd expect that discussions had been kept warm since the original GH backed bid had been made. But why...

I thought I'd read that there had been discussions and that a different model had ben offered (not sure whether formally or informally) whereby the rent varied dependant on which division we were in.

If "people" was directed at me, then I think I did. Personally I'd match OSB's analysis against TF's somewhat shaky grasp of the accounts he signed off, anyday. I was merely taking your rationale and comparing it with earlier comments you'd made.

Double standards Lord? You're happy to accept that those in a relatively small hedge fund know what they're doing, yet over recent years you've had many a poke at GH despite his senior roles in much larger financial organisations. Of course, that was before you became best mates :)

To be fair though, I expect that if any SISU owned companies are landlords, they'll give their properties to their tenants after a few years (especially if they go on rent strike) :)
