Do you want to discuss boring politics?

There's no problem there but that's not going to do anything to help the issues I mentioned or the article references. The system grinds to a halt when care is needed over and above what can be provided at home by the family. Whether its at the lower end, with occasion visits by carers to the...

Not sure making all offspring fully medically trained is going to work tbh. Not sure where I'd put the MRI scanner or x-ray machines either.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

A lot of this matches what I've experianced with my Dad. Never ending appointments and tests but little in the way of diagnosis or treatment. Then when he ended up in hospital he got stuck there as they couldn't find anywhere to discharge him to. From what I was told a very common problem as...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Took that as more of a footnote than a 'this will solve everything' proposal. How are we quadrupling hospital capacity to enable this to happen? We have neither the infrastructure or the staff. Not sure using education as an example of how we want to run this proposed NHS is a good idea. The...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

A&E won't be fixed until someone solves the issue of people who don't need to be at A&E turning up. If you phone my surgery when the appointments for the day are gone you get an answerphone message saying to either call 111, who are pretty quick to tell you to go to A&E to cover themselves, or...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

I'm clearly missing something as I've read it several times and had the same query. You say the NHS is a bloated, ineffective, inefficient, bureaucratic mess and the answer is to increase the use of private health provision before going on to say you did exactly this and couldn't get a private...

    Elon Musk

Some of them seem seem to be very much against any action being taken. Not sure why anyone would want to be seen to be in favour of a tool that is being used to generate child porn but they are very loudly shouting just that.

    Things that annoy you

My dentist does out of hours appointments, which are near impossible to get due to demand. Manged to get one this morning to get a tooth ripped out. Person in before me (at 7am) was a pensioner just having a regular check up. Why not go when everyone else is at work???

Match Thread Coventry City - Leicester City Match Thread-Sat 17th Jan 12.30pm

Don’t often say this but it’s a must win. Any other result, against a very poor side, and we’re looking at a month without a win and it starting to slide towards being more than a blip.

Trump is my favourite comedian of the year already

Find it interesting that Canada was on course for a big swing to the right until Trump stuck his nose in. Overnight he generated huge anti American sentiment that is still in place. The American anthem gets booed at sporting events, even when requests are made to ‘respect the anthem of our...

There was a Supreme Court ruling back in September that basically allows racial profiling. To all intents and purposes 'not looking right' is now the only grounds they need to grab you off the street.

    Things that annoy you

technically yes, in reality no. They don't pay us for an hour in the middle of the day :ROFLMAO: All that would happen is you'd have an hours more work to do at the end of the day. One guy who started here finished on time every day and got dragged into a meeting to be given a bollocking for...
